"The host, Lex, served an excelent breakfast and also partook in our conversation at the breakfast table. He even helped us rent bikes for a daily excursion. The room was also very nice with an interesting interior. I also liked the bed, which had the perfect stiffness for me. Not too stiff and not too soft."

"The whole experience was of a five star hotel. We had stayed in a four star hotel the night before and it exceeded that. Lex is a charming host. He had had an exceptionally stressful day and thought he had to cancel our booking but it the problems sorted before we arrived. In the meantime he had wasted time trying to contact us to tell us not to arrive. We were cycling and missed all his messages. The room with the terrace is amazing. The breakfast was exceptional. And Lex is a delightful and interesting host who spent time with all his guests. Highly recommend."

"I arrived very late and Lex stayed up and provided me with a larger room for extra comfort. He is a great host and chatted to me for quite awhile and we had a good chat over breakfast. As my meeting was not until lunchtime, he permitted me to stay and relax until I needed to go. Now that's personal service!"
