"Это еще дореволюционное судно с историей, произведенное в Нижнем Новгороде на Сормовских заводах. Стоит в самом центре Вишеграда, рядом с паромной переправой, в нескольких минутах от автобусной остановки (в сторону Эстергома и Сентендре) и единственного здесь супермаркета. До основной (очень живописной) пешей тропы к верхней крепости тоже совсем близко, как и до руин королевского дворца. Виды с палубы замечательные, особенно на рассвете и закате. В общем, местоположение - лучше не придумаешь. И тихо (как в общем и везде в Вишеграде). Завтрак - шведский стол. Не сильно разнообразный, но всё достаточно вкусно и голодными не уйдете. Никто не толпится, вообще малолюдно. На палубах можно посидеть и даже поработать за ноутбуком - есть столы со стульями. Каюту лучше брать с видом на реку (на горы) - выйдет чуть дороже, но приятнее. Персонал дружелюбный, никаких нареканий. Можно спокойно оставить багаж после выселения. В номере вполне чисто."

Были один раз перебои с напором горячей воды в душе. Сам номер (каюта) относительно небольшой. Нет холодильника. Но в целом, всё хорошо.

"Very handy location. Boat well appointed with everything you could need: toilet, small shower, galley with all facilities (except a wooden spoon!). Bed comfortable with cosy bedding. Lounge and dining areas separate with a good amount of room, for two at least."

Being a bit inexperienced at staying on boats it took us a while to fine tune the way we used things but hey, life’s a learning experience. Hot water did run out but easily overcome and, with a bit of communication, eventually fixed up. It’s a boat, not a 5 star Hilton; these things happen.

We had a vacation of our life with all the comfort and pampering by the staff on the boat. The cruise on the river provided rare glimpse of few exotic birds and a large group of monkeys. The narrations by the Manager of the Dedduwa Boat House about those birds were very informative. The Skipper was kind enough to stop along the river bank to watch the birds closely and take photographs. The candle-lit dinner and the night spend on the upper deck was simply magical. The next day my husband even managed catch some fish while cruising. The staff arranged them to be prepared for our lunch and that dish was out of this world. The staff went an extra mile to make us happy. The bedrooms and the facilities on board were above standard. This is the best destination we spend while in Sri Lanka. Keep it up Yathra and we will back again next year."

"The Sailboat Ragamuffin is a unique experience. You are staying in a sailboat moored off of Water Island, where your hosts live after sailing the Caribbean for 30 years. They are a font of information and anecdotes about the US virgin islands and others. Jo is an accomplished chef and strives to give you the food types you desire. They pick you up by dinghy on the Crown Marina dock, and will take you by dinghy over to Water Island. In my case, I had two berths (bedrooms and bathrooms) on the boat, rocked to sleep by the rolling of the boat on the water. Don't miss going to water island, golf cart to Limestone Beach (coral reef) and Honeymoon Beach (the latter has turtles swimming around)"

The listing didn't make it quite clear what the accommodation would be - it described an apartment and a pool view. I thought it might be a houseboat on a dock. The pool view is the sea around the boat!
