Centrally located in the old town of Thun, a 10-minute walk from the Train Station, the Alpine-style Hotel Emmental dates back to 1898. Free public WiFi is offered. The sun terrace of the hotel overlooks the Castle of Thun, which is 200 metres away, as well as the surrounding mountains - the ski regions of Grindelwald, Gstaad and Lenk with the Jungfrau and Eiger Mountains are a 45-minute drive away. The bright rooms have high ceilings, elegant yet cosy white furniture and LCD cable TV. The private bathrooms have showers. The cosy restaurant at the Emmental also features a bar and serves weekly changing dishes, accompanied by European wines and Swiss spirits.

"Уютный номер с балконом, разрешили оставить багаж до вечера, дали зонтики до вечера. Месторасположение отличное, от вокзала 6 минут на автобусе. Завтрак был скромным, но все было свежим и вкусным. Скинули транспортную карту Панорама, которая дала доступ к бесплатному проезду в районе озера Тун 👍🏻"

"Beautiful hotel with the character - loved it from the stairs to the view on the castle. We were lucky to have a spacious corner room with 4 windows - full of light and fresh air. Located right next to the old center and convenient parking (reasonably priced and discount is provided from hotel), bus stop is around the corner - connecting to Train station and Spiez. Breakfast is beautifully served in the restaurant, selection is limited but enough. Regret we stayed just 2 nights."

"Lovely and welcoming staff. I needed an extra pillow and it was in my room in 10 minutes. I had a mini room which was absolutely big enough with a full bathroom and double bed. The food in the restaurant was really good too. Very attentive staff, will absolutely stay there again!"
"The house is quite old and the walls are not very insulated so you can hear what’s going on outside your room. It wasn’t enough to bother me, I just noticed it."

"Отель удобно расположен к центральному вокзалу, старому городу и основным достопримечательностям. Быстрое заселение. Очень чисто, как в номере, так и ванной и туалете на этаже. Помимо общей ванной и туалета, есть раковина в номере и фен. Нормальный завтрак ( выбор не большой, но голодными не останетесь)."
