"Gmundnerberghaus is a hidden gem. The cottage is incredibly tidy, cozy, and well-maintained. The views of the green hills surrounding the property are absolutely stunning and provide a perfect backdrop for relaxation. A major plus: the actual location and atmosphere are even better than the pictures suggest! The photos on the website are modest compared to the wonderful reality. Highly recommended for a peaceful and beautiful escape."

"Excellent location, just a short walk from Lonnoc Beach and a 15 minute walk from the famous Champagne Beach; 20 minute ride to Port Olry. There is a small village (Hog Harbour Village) nearby, about a 20 minute walk, where you can buy local bread and fruit. Accommodation is very basic but serves its purpose. Mosquito coils and nets are provided. The local who looked after us, Melody, was very welcoming and kind, and made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. There were no kayaks available but they can be rented from the neighbouring Lonnoc Beach Bungalows."

Drainage in the shower is poor and the floor quickly becomes wet and muddy. Facilities are very worn out. The room has no shelving to put your belongings; this would be a great improvement. If you are on a budget, keep in mind that pretty much the only food options in the area are the restaurants at the lodge or at neighbouring accommodations, where a meal costs 1500-2000 vatu per person. The food is delicious though and there are local dishes - the paw paw curry was phenomenal.

Je kunt niet zo goed de ramen lekker openzetten ivm muggen en vliegen. Een hor zou een oplossing kunnen zijn.

I would like to suggest to have more small spoon. There were only 2 so not enough for a family of 5

Guests not respecting the quiet hours

"La cabaña es preciosa. Está muy bien equipada tanto dentro como fuera de la casa. Contacto directo con la naturaleza."

A nosotros nos tocaron días de lluvia y la calle para llegar se pone bastante difícil de transitar. Lo único que no funcionaba bien es la canilla de la cocina, que estaba suelta.

"The view was really good with the little terrace in front of the room, I like to have a view. AC was powerful. It was also very very quiet. No noise except the roosters."

Others need to be mindful it's down a steep hill from the main street then up a steep unlit track - bring a flashlight not just phone light. Tricycles pick up at the bottom of the hill.

"Удивительное место,с прекрасным расположением. Всё что нужно рядом. Как достопримечательности так и инфраструктура. Тихое место с изумительным видом. Рекомендую. Домик с сауной, всё есть, чисто и комфортно. За камин нужно будет доплатить но это того стоит."

Ночью лягушки квакают на соседнем участке. Но это слышно только из ванной.

"Lovely house in the woods. It felt like our home! I wish it was our home, in fact. Such a happy, warm place with real soul! And so much better than staying in Jahorina. It’s beautiful, peaceful, yet very close to the resort. Very well equipped with kitchen utensils! And there was even pretty decent water pressure in the shower. We were also very warmly welcomed by the owners sister, who is also lovely."

Everything was great!

"This is a place where everything works -- gas, electric, water. Enough pots and pans for everyone. We enjoyed the stay. The place was clean, sheets were clean, towels and soap present, and there was working cleaning tools to keep the place clean. The host had thought of everything. The WiFi was superb. And the park outside is well-maintained and enjoyable."

A work desk was missed. Indoor parking not available, but the are is quite safe and secure.

A szárító tiszta rozsda volt, nem tudtam, vagyis nem akartam arra kiteregetni. Egyetlen éles kést sem találtunk, amivel a pékárut elvághattuk volna. A konyhai/nappali rész tele volt szúnyogokkal kora este, amikor megérkeztünk, így, aludni ott nem tudtunk (de az alvás a régi hűtő folyamatosan búgó hangjától is lehetetlen lett volna.) Úgy gondolom, hogy az apartman árához képest ezek olyan apró dolgok, amikre lehetne figyelni.

"Все было отлично, хорошие апарты есть практически все, если не придираться, чего нет можно попросить у хозяйки. Добираться при наличии транспорта не проблема ( если без машины, принимайте решение сами) Очень красивая территория, 2 огромных дерева ( тамарина) с подсветкой, много разной живности, кролики, олени, гекконы. У хозяйки 2 собаки очень добрые и не навязчивые. Если нужен совет по поводу где что на острове хозяйка все подскажет. Рекомендую 100%!"

Мелкие недочеты может и были, но это не существенно!

"Коттеджи симпатичные, но честно говоря, на картинках выглядят лучше, чем в жизни. Территория для отшельников и эко-любителей, вокруг мало домов и другого жилья, что, конечно, прекрасно для жаждущих уединения. Мы были на Мадейре первый раз и хотелось побольше рассмотреть, поэтому нам показалось несколько далековато от цивилизации - но это не минус, это кому что нравится. Вид из бунгало отменный - простор и море. Бассейн очень милый и в жару просто прекрасен. Завтрак очень хвалят в отзывах, но тут не могу присоединиться - просто нормальный фермерский завтрак."
