"It's a great place to see the Northern Lights. The house was cozy and well-equipped. The breakfast was excellent. The owners were very friendly and attentive."

A small table or something to sit at would be nice in case you want to play cards, etc.

"Great welcome, the owner Pao was very attentive to my needs, brought me to breakfast in town every morning, his wife cooking me food for lunch and/or supper. I was by myself but didn’t feel alone having the family around, and Pao included me in his evenings with his friends. I had my own room with mattress on the ground firm but I find comfortable with a mosquito net. Shared bathroom but very clean toilet. Shower with the bucket with cold water - but invigorating and makes the experience authentic ! Nice setting with greenery. Hammocks to relax."

No WiFi available unfortunately, but I had my own SIM card with lots of gigabytes so it didn’t bother me to use my 5G. Roosters singing in the evening or early in the morning - but you get used to it / or put earplugs and it’s fine! Again it makes you feel in the countryside so it’s part of the experience!

"I loved this place, but it was the host lady that really made the difference. She helped us basically every day with arranging taxis and transport all over the island, including coletivos back to the port right from the gate. She adds massive value to the stay."

No complaints at all! It's just a bit of a walk from the centre but very manageable

"I like the facilities, near all the attractions and also the rooms were clean and the atmosphere was nice. Thomas and their family were nice people and provided us with comfort during our stay. Breakfast was good, the price was accessible for all the accommodation they offered. I saw the have some delicious pizza as well, maybe I'll try it next time. You can also take a relaxing fishing time here, which is a good activity."

I wasn't able to connect to wifi from the room, so that was a bummer. Also the TV didn't display anything, I couldn't connect any device either. So this may be a growing opportunity. Also, even though I enjoyed breakfast, I think it could be included fruit as a side

"Our stay at Steigenberger was very pleasant, the same day we started with a spa treatment - the Pharaoh bath, we got a special deal two for one. We had 3 massage therapists who took care of us💆‍♀️Higly recommending it! But let's get back to the beginning, we got welcomed by Ahmed, who gave us a beautiful room with a balcony facing the Nile. For many a dream come true.. You will be welcomed wih a refreshing cold hibiscus tea. The breakfast buffet there has a huge selection and in the evening you can also have a dinner buffet with a view to the Nile if you sit outside. There are two pools, gym, some stores with souvenirs around the hotel and even a swing to take a beautiful sunset picture with a view to the Nile. Thank you Ahmed for your assistance, we felt very welcome thanks to you. 💯☺️"

The surrounding area is poor, but don't be scared, the locals are welcoming and kind. Sometimes you have to be patient so order your breakfast early if you have an adventure day planned.

"It's a basic place with shared bathroom, bathroom and common areas all kept clean all of the people working are friendly and helpful."

"Мы жили на первом этаже большого дома (хозяева на втором). Очень тихое место на природе, но совсем недалеко от шоссе и от города. В нашем распоряжении были три большие комнаты, функциональная кухня и просторный санузел. Очень чисто. Удобные кровати. Ульяна замечательная хозяйка, дружелюбная и гостеприимная."

"The home is in great shape and is easily accessible. Check-in and check-out was well laid out in advance. We enjoyed using the kitchen to cook meals and store drinks during our stay. Having the AC in the room was a life-saver!"

Some basic kitchen amenities like paper towels and trash bags were not provided or incorrectly sized. Trash bins (inside and outside) were sometimes over-full due to the nature of the shared space.

"The Eco Guest House is located in the owners estate. The chalet type accommodation had the living area and bathroom downstairs whilst the upstairs there is one bedroom with a queen bed and two single beds. The setting is absolutely wonderful for nature lovers. We did a bird touring with Wendy(the host) which was great and without her we wouldn't have spotted many of the birds. The balconies are great to sit and relax in and enjoy the bird life."

"Прекрасное месторасположение, практически на берегу моря, до пляжа 20 метров. Вы ощущаете полный релакс, прям место Силы, прекрасный пляж,на котором только вы одни. Прекрасные хозяева, любая просьба решалась моментально, очень отзывчивые и позитивные, на вилле есть все необходимое для комфортного проживания. Мы были с машиной, но выезжали только один раз в магазин, больше не было желания покидать виллу. Завтраки это отдельная история, оформление, разнообразие, подача, круче чем в 5* отелях, все очень качественно и вкусно."

Все было идеально, никакого негатива.

"Вы живёте в настоящем деревенском доме XIX века в окружении настоящих исторических построек. На первом этаже дома - настоящий музей с вещами той эпохи, фотографиями предков владельцев и даже замок на двери комнаты - имеет возраст 200 лет. Хозяин может провести вам увлекательную экскурсию по хутору. Ночью во дворе можно встретить стадо северных оленей."
