"The hosts were very friendly and sincere in their service to their guests. The breakfast and dinner were good. We tried their apple cider tasting board and I really enjoyed it. We had bonfire after dinner and the children enjoyed gathering dried grasses to add to the fire. The owner even brought us to their mushroom farm and showed the operation of the farm, which we were very impressed. Hope to visit Cider Barn &more again, maybe in another season."

It was quite a challenge driving in the dark to the accommodation. It’s better to reach there before sunset.

"The host was very friendly and made tons of arrangements for us. He picked us up from the train station, drove us to the grand canyon, and also drove us to the caves. He made a delicious Chinese breakfast that was included and we also paid extra to eat dinner there as well. The hotel is nice and quiet and pretty close to the Grand Canyon - though you will probably still need to drive there."

The room was a little cold in the winter.

Таких доброжелательных хозяев, как Сандино и Каролина очень редко встретишь. Территория большая, есть терраса, ресторан, где можно заказать обед и ужин. Готовят здесь очень вкусно. Завтрак тоже отличный. На всей территории очень чисто. Кроме того, Сандино мне организовал экскурсию с тренингом в горы Лос Невадос гораздо дешевле, чем предлагали в турагенствах. Помимо туризма хозяева занимаются выращиванием кофе, фруктов и птицы. Кофе здесь всегда превосходный. Желаю этому месту развития и процветания!"

"Я очень благодарен хозяину Ahmed Shawky за то, что он создал этот отель. Он находится прямо среди пальмового леса в окружении природы, что отлично подходит для людей, которые любят отдыхать на природе. Отдельно мы с женой хотим поблагодарить Shawky за то, что он показал нам окрестности, рассказал, как выращивает финиковые пальмы у себя в саду и как живут местные жители. У хозяина большой опыт авторской организации трипов в пустыню. Мы были очень рады съездить в белую и черную пустыню с его другом и сыном. Я очень рекомендую заказать посещение пустыни у хозяина и его команды. Большое спасибо жене и детям Shawky за вкусные обеды, которые они для нас приготовили. Я желаю всего наилучшего этой прекрасной семье. Спасибо!"

"Beautiful house set in the middle of nature. We booked a larger room to have some more space and it was very big with a huge terrace which we loved. The farm itself was full of different fruit trees and plants and Santhosh was kind to show us around and explain what was what. He also organised a tuktuk tour in the forest for half a day which we really enjoyed. He let us know about a local festival happening in a town nearby and even drove us back after. Breakfast was great, and so was dinner which we asked for on the last evening. We booked this place to experience the peace and nature in Kerala and this is exactly what we got, would 100% reccommend!"

The shower in our bathroom didn't have hot water connected, so in order to use the hot water, we needed to use a bucket and a jug to shower. Pillow cases were not very soft.

"Jovan is located by the river, and you can feel totally immersed in nature. The house even has swings outside and a volleyball net! We were given bikes to use and a big outdoor cooker and table. The house is really set up for use to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible, and our host even offered to take us fishing if we wanted. Inside, the house is clean and comfortable and very large for what we paid. We also loved the log burner! Overall we loved staying at Jovan and the kindness of our hosts."

There was no oil to use for cooking but that is all
