"Lovely little gem in an out of the way town near Tours. Very quiet spot with charming hosts who served a lovely breakfast with the local famous goat's cheese. The property is very tastefully decorated with Nathalie's beautiful paintings. The bed was WONDERFUL and we slept well. The shower was perfect and worked well. The rooms are reached by a spiral staircase which is probably very very old and add to the charm of the place. Jean-Luc will happily tell you about the history of the place being a native."

"Parking is a bit limited in the vicinity but its a minor quibble as i was able to station my car almost outside. I was concerned that passing traffic might be a problem but in fact its very very quiet."

"The room was very spacious and had two easy chairs and a desk with chair. The refurbished roof beams were spectacular. Really tasteful decor. Bathroom was good."

"The mirror was a little high for short people. Quite a climb to the rooms up very old stone steps."

"The hospitality was great. We only stayed for one night but arrived late and wanted to leave early, which was not a problem. Jean Luc prepared a breakfast, ready for us to eat in morning so we could make an early start on our journey."

"Low slanting ceilings as our room was in the attic. But this wasn't a big problem."

"Lovely, large room with a good size bed. Despite the language barrier, the hosts were friendly and tried their best to communicate with us and answer any questions. The rooms are up three flights of stairs, which can be tricky to navigate with large bags - a young gentlemen at the house kindly helped me with my bag though, which was greatly appreciated! Breakfast consisted of tea/coffee, croissants, baguette, some cheeses, ham and two jam options. Plenty to start your day with. There was also a coffee pod machine upstairs, although this wasn't refilled towards the end of the stay. Plenty of free parking nearby."

"Some of the furniture is in need of a little TLC - the cupboard doors came off their hinges and the drawers were tricky to open and close. Nothing too bad but a small niggle that could maybe be looked into. There was a portable aircon machine available but it didn't do much - much better to just open the windows and let the cooler night air come in. Not the BnB's fault but the area is quite 'dead' with few shops or restaurants nearby that were open regular hours. Some information on nearest shops, recommended restaurants/ boulangeries, nearby attractions would have been a lovely addition and perhaps something to consider in the future?"

"The house was full of character, in the old town on a narrow street, with parking and local shops very close by. We had everything we needed, including air conditioning on a very hot day. A pool was available for a couple of hours between access time and 7pm. The room was fantastic on the upper floor accessed by lovely stone steps and walls decorated with the talented owners' own art. The breakfast was amazing and was all you needed and more in a massive continental breakfast. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and one was conversant in English. There was a lovely garden in which to read in the sun or shade. Local colour was provided by the ringing of three different sets of church bells in the morning. The property was ideally located close to main routes as a stopover for travelling in France and for exploring the local region."

"The access time of 5pm was later than we are used to but not a problem. The lovely location in the historic quarter determined that parking was not on site, but again, this was not a problem as there was ample parking in a local carpark just a few metres away from the property."

"Very nice bedroom with wide confortable double bed. Clean. The breakfast was excellent with jam made by the owner and the excellent goat’s cheese from there. Owner helped us with booking the only open bistro on Sunday night which was excellent"

"The beams of the ceiling where really nice but very low. I bumped my head a couple of times. The bathroom and toilet where outside the bedroom."
