Located on the site of Soeurs de Notre Dame de Charité du Bon Pasteur, Hostellerie Bon Pasteur offers guestroom accommodation in Angers, an 8-minute drive from Angers Train Station and a 10-minute walk from Château d'Angers. "The accommodation is basic but very comfortable, clean and quiet. It’s a good location just across the bridge from the Chateau. The gardens are lovely. Very good value. Breakfast was good and we did have evening meal in the dining room which was fine but a bit like eating in a school canteen."

"Very helpful staff. When there was an issue with the shower in our room, they moved us straight to another. It was very close to the city centre but easy to drive to and park. Despite this, it was very quiet at night. The restaurant was reasonably priced and the food good."

"Spacious triple room, very quiet at night. Easy parking, we arrived fairly late but a key was left for me at reception so it was easy. The site is quite remarkable, it was nice to wander around and walk in the garden."
"It's not in the middle of town but we had a car anyway. It's a bit "institutional": the kids said it looked and smelt a bit like a school or a hospital. But for one night it was fine. Breakfast was a bit thin but better than nothing."

"As i understood, it was a hospital converted to a hotel. The good thing is that there is plenty of parking space, whereas the hotel is close to the centre. Modern decoration, very comfortable spaces i would definitely stay again."

"Nice spacious and clean apartment with a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. The apartment is not too far from the inner city. It is very nice to see hosts thinking of details like USB and USB-C ports for devices. The apartment is very white, bright and minimalist decorated. It is up three flights of stairs. Lots of fresh towels. Beds were very comfortable. Communication with the host was good."

"The apartment was perfect – very clean, cozy, and equipped with everything you might need. It had a beautiful sea view, a large terrace to relax on, and access to a big, very clean pool. There was always enough parking space outside as well as in the garage, which was very convenient. The location is excellent and in a very interesting area, making our stay even more enjoyable. Our host René was extremely kind and professional. He explained everything clearly, handled everything smoothly, and was always helpful. You can really tell he cares about the comfort of his guests. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely come back to visit again. Highly recommended!"

"The host communicated very well to us and give us details instruction on how to get there, and chat in text to finalize the check in arrangement, which someone meet us in person, such a nice touch; the place is very cute and well decorated, super quiet location, efficient kitchen, the host provided fresh bread everyday with butter/ homemade jam, which is a great extra touch"

"The personnel were terrific, the room much larger than we expected and well equiped. The one thing that we found somewhat inconvenient was having to make our own coffee with an expresso machine rather than being able to make a bigger cup. of regular coffee. The breakfast was also just okay, the croissant very good, the baguette just okay. For the price of the hotel room one would have expected a buffet. The room seemed well insulated and the AC worked fine. Very quiet at night. On the whole, a comfortable stay that we might repeat next year, hoping for a more substantial breakfast! As for the restaurant, we found our one meal there to be very good."
