Set just outside the medieval walls, this bed and breakfast is just 150 metres from the medieval city of Carcassonne and a 15-minute walk from the city centre. It offers a seasonal bar and restaurant with a terrace and views of the medieval city. Free WiFi is provided. Rooms are simply decorated using neutral tones and all have air-conditioning, a TV and a private bathroom. Two rooms at La Rapière offer views of the medieval city and one room has a private terrace. On the terrace or in the dining room, you can enjoy the B&B’s continental breakfast. A range of drinks are available from the bar, while the restaurant serves French and local cuisine in the form of set menus. Free private parking is available on site and the A61 motorway is 3 km away. The Canal du midi is a 20-minute walk from the hotel. "Мы остались в полном восторге от своего пребывания в этом чудесном жилье! Месторасположение просто великолепное — всего в нескольких шагах от входа в замок Каркассон. Бесплатная парковка на территории. Соотношение цены и качества здесь на высоте: комната чистая, удобная и стильная. Особенно приятно, что персонал владеет русским языком, что значительно облегчало общение и создавало приятную атмосферу. Хочу выразить свою благодарность хозяевам — они были очень добрые и заботливые, всегда готова помочь с вопросами и советами. Я с удовольствием рекомендую это место всем, кто планирует посетить Каркассон. Большое спасибо за незабываемый отдых!"

"Charles gave us on upgrade to the room with a balcony. This was so nice as we were looking straight to the castle, what a view! Hotel is very nice, in the evening is the bar open and also locals are finding this a nice place. Not noisy and we really enjoyed it with the castle vieuw. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. It also have the parking on the hotel property so very comfy."

"Our two teenagers and 9yo niece loved all the pool areas and that there was such a variety of slides. The entire site is well established with mature planting/palm trees offering plenty of shade even at nearly 40C. As a result the individual plots feel really private and not overlooked. The aircon at our duplex bungalow worked a treat."

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the home cooked evening meal (and option) was excellent. The location in a small quiet village was ideal for us, and I'll certainly be back if/when in the area again!"
