"For a single traveler like me, it may not be your first choice pricewise because there are only 4 or 5 person rooms available. I slept in the room with 5 beds, which was fine for me, but maybe too small for a group of 5."

"Very quirky and special place, decoration fun, all done with attention to detail. The room is super spacious, the shower large, soap and shampoo provided. Host is very kind, he lives in the house, the living room is his private, where breakfast ist also served. Checkin is easy, because he is on site. Breakfast was very abundant and made with love. Room very private, because it is on the top floor. Short walk to restaurants. Remarkable stay"

"Très jolie petite maisonnette, très confortable, bien fourni avec tous ce qu’on avait besoin. Tranquille jour et nuit. Facile à trouver, communication facile. Restaurant/pub à une minute de marche que nous avons adoré. Stationnement très proche. Belle piscine, mais petite quand les 3 gîtes veulent l’utiliser en même temps! Parfaitement placé pour explorer la region."

"A great little place in the heart of the town. 100m from the Camino passport office and perfect for your starting place for the Camino. It's so close to all the shops too. Directly across is a little store that will vaccum seal sandwiches that you can take the next day on your adventure and they'll be fresh. The room was big enough and the bathroom and shower were great. The bed was comfortable too."

She was helpful in our search for food - the famous cheese of her daughter we read about in the reviews was great ! She was reachable even though the mobile phone connexion was poor ! "What a treasure to find Chez Black & White. Marc & Nicole were very warm and welcoming. My room was so beautiful and the bathroom with both bath and shower a real bonus. I loved to sit and listen to the birds in the surrounding woodland. Breakfast with fresh croissants and a nice chat set me up for the day. Marc was very patient with my limited french😉 It was a very special place and I sincerely want to return soon."
