"Great room within the old mill . The room is built new within all the old renovated timbers , access is via an enclosed bridge with viewing all around down to the river and old wheel and other buildings."

"Location is excellent. An old water mill that is being very slowly renovated and converted into holiday lets. Beautiful views over the river. Canoes available for your use. You go to sleep with the sound of flowing water. The small indoor pool is heated to 28 degrees. Not quite deep enough for a proper swim but lovely nonetheless. The infra red sauna that overlooks the river is an added bonus."
"Absolutely nothing I didn’t like. As I previously mentioned it is slowly being renovated with sustainability and consideration for the history of the water mill. So don’t go expecting 5 star luxurious bedrooms. But it is very comfortable and we would happily return if we ever come back down this way."
"Arrived late from the airport but the owner was welcoming nonetheless. Would be a good place to explore the area from lots of outside space and shared facilities."

"Nous avons apprécié le lieu improbable au bord de la Vienne avec un paysage magnifique. Un accueil très sympathique avec explications de l'histoire très intéressante des lieux... Tout y est pensé pour passer un séjour très agréable. La propreté et le confort y sont parfaits. Le petit déjeuner copieux et varié est servi dans un panier en osier à l'heure souhaitée. Nous avons aussi bien aimé la détente dans le jardin devant la rivière."

"The location was great, about 10 minutes walk from the old town and the markets. The apartments were spacious and the heating worked very well. The arrangements to get in worked really well. It was nice to have tea and coffee in the apartment. Parking was ok, you just had to be a bit patient and a space would come up. Lots to see in the area as well as the town itself."

"Beautiful location in a small and charming village in the Burgundy area. Jean Luc provided us a very warm welcome and help for a restaurant reservation. We (and our dog) had an immediate homely feeling. The breakfast next morning in the beautiful garden was a real treat. The apartment is tastefully decorated, cozy and spacious."

"Belle maison ancienne en pierre de taille à deux pas de la plage de la Conche, donc très bien placée pour visiter Royan à pied, meublée avec goût. Le rez-de-chaussée est une grande pièce de séjour avec cuisine américaine à ilôt central côté rue et grande baie vitrée ouvrant sur le deck d’un agréable jardin. Chambres de bonne taille avec salle de bain au premier et belle suite parentale au deuxième. Rien ne nous a manqué dans les équipements mis à la disposition des locataires."
"The location is great, very near the sea and with multiple facilities and shops nearby. The apartment is small but fully equipped, we didn´t have to buy the basics to cook meals and keep the room clean. The host provided a cabinet for our baby."
"Easy to communicate with the landlord, the interior is recently done and well maintained. The beds, bathroom and kitchen is great. We were here in the fall, so can not say anything about the outdoor seating. It looks nice ;). Parking at the house, few hundred meters to the beach/ocean. La Cabone Manon is a real gem!"
