"Lots of space ( that I didn’t need ) , useful location for me , after initial confusion re booking ( as the minimum stay should show 2 nights - it didn’t and I booked 1 ) the owner came out from Dax for me and opened up the property for 1 night. As it was a Sunday , and nowhere open to eat , he also gave me a salad and bananana from his daughter’s picnic ! - thanks !! WiFi etc works well"

"My friend and I rented this property for five nights in January - one, if not the coldest month of the year in Medoc. There was frost at night but the gite was pleasantly warm and though there was not a radiator in every room it was well insulated and very well appointed. Great value for money and within walking distance of the centre of Hourtin, a large supermarket plus usual services."

"A niggle......prior instructions to find the gite were excellent but when we got there it was locked and no-one around to let us in. Entry was with a key inside a security box but we did not have the code. That needed a telephone call to the owner. Knowing the system before we arrived would have been a bonus."

"Accueil très chaleureux dans cette charmante maison. La situation est idéale à quelques minutes à pied de la place centrale, d'un supermarché et le long de la route en direction de Pauillac. La pluie nous a empêché de profiter du jardin mais nous avons pu manger à l'extérieur sur la petite terrasse couverte. La maison est relativement petite mais très bien équipée et très confortable."
