"This is a superb apartment with a superb host. It was ideal for our 4-person 5-night stay in December for the Festival de la Sainte Barbe. The host Anne-Charlotte was responsive and very helpful with speedy responses to every question - in fact, the best I have ever dealt with. The apartment had masses of space, was nicely warm even in a snowy December, and was clean throughout (apart from the oven which was awful!). The bedrooms, beds and linen were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the lounge was great for relaxing at the end of the day. The bathroom was spacious, the shower was hot and powerful, and the towels were good quality and nicely soft. The area is quiet – no noise at all – and on-site parking was a real bonus. We would be very happy to stay here again."

We were there end of January and the house was so warm and inviting. The breakfast was first class and we will never forget our stay here at Maison Blanche, a highlight of our visit to France . "Great location in the centre of Royan. The apartment is up several flights of stairs which may not suit some, but lovely little balcony. Spacious apartment, clean and all equipment, bedding towels provided. Great hosts very friendly and welcoming."

"We stayed at Au Figuier du Gué for 3 nights. The renovated stone farmhouse in a quite rural setting was just what we needed as we had been travelling a lot. Isabelle and Didiee were wonderful hosts. They gave us a great breakfast with eggs from their own chickens. There is a large communal kitchen and living area. Isabelle and Didiee were very sociable and spoke excellent English as we had no French. They are from Strasbourg and also speak German. The countryside was lovely and quite and we were able to walk on the quite country roads. We were only 15 mins from the lovely village of Josselin. We would love to return."

"The apartment was in a great location very close to shops, bars and restaurants and yet only a very short walk to the historic centre. Chez Audrey was spacious comfortable, clean and lovely and warm and our bed was very comfortable. We had lots of space inside and out and I even sat on the decking in the sunshine for a while. We enjoyed cooking and there was a good range of cutlery, crockery and cookware. It was an added bonus to have parking behind the property. From here you can easily explore Saint Malo, Dinard, Combourg and Cancale. There are lovely walks along the Rance in both directions and a great Thursday market. Audrey was an excellent host, very informative and helpful."
