"Excellent location close to the harbour, shops and restaurants."

"Location in full city centre is optimal for exploring Aix. South side orientation ensures brightness - and though outside temps reached 24°C the apartment was not heating up (April visit). Also the fact that the apartment is not facing the street side. Good space for 3 adults, given most of the activities happen outside anyways."

"Two storey cottage in host's garden, restored. Large bedroom and bathroom upstairs, and large living area on ground floor, with comprehensive kitchen equipment. We cooked every evening, as it was a 15 minute walk to the town centre, and the local buses, though free in Niort for everyone including visitors, and we were close to the bus stops, they stop running at 20.00. The swimming pool was a bonus, as the weather became very hot, and we ate in the garden. A friendly cat enhanced our peaceful visit. Although garden is shared, there are separate areas for sitting and dining. The extremely friendly and helpful host lives on the property in their own house. He offered, and then drove us to Niort railway station. Very kind."

"The breakfast was very good. It was located in large hall in a different area of the domaine. There was a painting and a write up about the owner in the 17th century.....this made us to visit the main château de Brézé on our journey back to the UK. Very pleased to have done so. It was also a new experience to stay in a roulotte surrounded by fields......"
