"Место супер. Море чистейшее, был в восторге. Хозяева отеля очень добродушные и хорошие люди. Шли на встречу. Взяли с собакой. В ресторане очень вкусная еда. Отдых удался. Если хотите отдохнуть в тишине от городской суеты и рабочих будней, вам сюда. Буду советовать это место."

Не всегда есть горячая вода, сломан держатель душевой лейки.

The breakfast is basic, would have liked fruit and some more options.

"Peaceful location with a beautiful garden, spacious and comfortable rooms and very amazing hosts. They gave us tea and a bottle of their fantastic homemade lavender shampoo made from herbes harvested in the garden. It is a sustainable little paradise."

The window on the ceiling let in a little too much light, but this is only a problem on the bed below it (and it heats up the room very well during the day - which is crucial due to the cold nights).

"1. The location was superb. It was completely quiet and provided panoramic views over the ocean from the terrace. 2. The cottage was sensitively built -compact, but with all we needed. 3. The hostess and owner were friendly and very helpful -it was a pleasure to meet them both. 4. We were on a walking holiday and access to the southern half of the island was good from here. 5. It was extremely hot during our stay. The lovely swimming pool and terrace were much appreciated. 6. Exploring the plants and seeing the birds in the compact but varied garden was a pleasure. 7. This was our best accommodation during our 4 weeks on the island."

We would have appreciated a comfortable chair in the living area. A car is needed to get to the nearest supermarket. It is close by, but walking along the road is too dangerous.

"Fantastic, staff was super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Campsite clean, room of high standards. Bed so very comfortable. Lovely touches with the dog box and welcome tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits! Fantastic stay can’t wait to go back."

Crow scarers in local fields unsettled our dog but that wasn’t the fault of the camp site. This comment is just to let visitors know incase they have a nervous dog.

"Завтрак был в ланкийских традициях — лёгкий омлет, тост и свежие фрукты, всё что нужно для начала дня. По желанию хозяева могут приготовить что-то ещё — в этом плане они очень внимательные, мне всё понравилось. Расположение немного отдалено от центра Хиккадувы, но именно в этом и есть его прелесть: тишина, покой и умиротворение. До пляжа идти недалеко, поэтому место отлично подойдёт для спокойного отдыха. Проживание здесь оказалось замечательным: это тихий сад вдали от суеты, но главное достоинство места — его хозяева, Санджи и его добрая жена, которым можно полностью доверять. Я останавливался у них не впервые и уверен в их надёжности: будь то помощь в экстренной ситуации, совет по любому вопросу или просто душевное общение, они всегда выручат от души, а не из меркантильных побуждений. Завтраки вкусные и по-домашнему заботливые, а доверие к людям здесь — редкая ценность для Шри-Ланки. Это место, где можно чувствовать себя в полной безопасности и с удовольствием возвращаться снова."

Честно говоря, никаких минусов не нашел — всё было на высоте. В плане проживания нареканий не возникло, всё прошло отлично.

"Chalet was cozy, warm, nice. Exceptional for couples. Wood gave a warm atmosphere. Fantastic details using wood."

I requested additional decoration, but it was very basic.

"Мне все понравилось! Так как я путешествую со своей собакой, для меня важны удобства ее выгула. Я не была ограничена в пространстве и моя собака могла гулять везде. Порадовала чистота номеров и персонал! А и еще очень вкусный кофе в ресторане."

"TV with Youtube. Pond after the sauna. Everything was clean and working. Host very generous with wood for sauna."

Somehow the sauna loses steam very fast. Hot-tub was extra and pretty expensive.

"Переночевали одну ночь в дороге в путешествии. Всё, как и ожидалось, хороший кемпинг со всем необходимым и красивым видом на голубую реку 👍🏻 Видно, что за состоянием всех технических приборов следят. Прекрасные гамаки на улице! Берите с собой репеллент от Комаров и наслаждайтесь 😀"

Неудобно добираться без автомобиля. Последний автобус от железнодорожного вокзала в 18.55. Рано утром нет общественного транспорта, пришлось заказывать такси. Также не понравилось отсутствие чайника и посуды на общей кухне

The walk to to the beach is not bad it is right across the street however it is not a main beach so make sure to have water shoes. we didn't swim there and walked down to the area's with most of the resorts. That is a solid 20-30 minute walk one way. The only issue with walking was that if you want restaurants they are down there so having a car would be more convenient.

"Het was een prachtig appartement met een adembenemend uitzicht op de bergen en zee. Alles wat we nodig hadden was al in het appartement. Zelfs zeep om een wasje te doen. Ocean was super behulpzaam met alles wat wilde weten. Absolute aanrader. Wij gaan sowieso terug komen!"

"We chose buellsPort as the first stop on our Namibia round trip and really enjoyed it. We didn’t expect too much but really loved the food. Both nights we got served a multi-course home cooked meal utilising game meat and local vegetables. The private hiking paths are really well maintained and set in a beautiful landscape. We also enjoyed the drive towards sossusvlei from buellsport which is in much better condition than the standard tourist route."
