"One of the best places we have ever stayed; we really did not want to leave. Super high quality apartment and very comfortable. Well equipped for a holiday stay (but no oven). Lovely views across the mountains and also down to the lake. Easy walk down to the lake with a nice hotel/restaurant and even a small supermarket at the bottom of the road. About another 20 minutes into the town itself, along the footpath. So great location; peaceful and quiet without the Bled town crowds and traffic."

The hot water system will drive you mad - if, like us, you were brought up not to waste water! And bring your own shower gel etc.

If you are a light sleeper, you might find the noise from the road (10m away) and the railway behind it excessive, as well as noise from the next door neighbours with small kids, etc.

"The property is in a great location, close to all different kinds of food and walkable to the waterfront. Everything is very clean, quiet and comfortable. The host is lovely and friendly, making us feel very welcome. Facilities are great, and there is a washing machine you can use free of charge. Aircon works well."

The shower is cold, but it’s manageable because it’s so hot.

"Malaki and his family were great hosts! Very helpful and friendly. Sorted out lots of things for us with no fuss, even though we booked last minute and had limited planning. We had some good laughs! Good view of volcano, and hear the rumbling! Simple and authentic ni-Van accommodation."

Malaki still had a few things to finish... eg switching for solar lights and some plumbing... but we were 2nd guests, so it will be more complete for next guests

"Staff were really helpful and kind, helping us find the Gare Routiere and sending the location of the hotel itself. Ziguinchor is a small town anyway but everything was in walking distance. Very quiet and comfortable. Excellent value for money"

"Всё было идеально: наиприятнейший, наидобрейший хозяин и весь персонал, трансфер от парома до дома, в доме ВСЁ продумано и сделано для удобства и комфорта гостей. Идеально чисто, в душе есть горячая вода и данные принадлежности, приятная и красивая территория, гамаки, достаточно столов и стульев, безоплатные велосипеды, организовали лодочную экскурсию по каналам острова. Вокруг полно дешёвой местной еды, питаться так же можно дома:готовят обед и ужин на заказ, завтраки включены. Я в полном восторге! Это САМЫЙ приятный и комфортный хомстэй из виденных мною за месяц путешествия по Вьетнаму. Однозначно-рекомендую!"

В первой нашей комнате подушка была неудобной.

"Hosts were super friendly, very helpful and kind. Silvio gave me a ride back to airport when I arrived and needed to pick up my partner (we traveled separately there). The house and the room were nice and clean, huge fridge and well equipped kitchen for the guests to use. Netflix with guest account in the room was a nice extra. Big terrace with sunbeds. The location itself was lovely, locals were friendly and helpful as well. Airport is very close, 40 mins walk or 6 mins with the car."

I know it's not the hosts fault, because there was an issue with the pool due the construction works in the neighborhood the time we're staying there and we couldn't use it. Would have been nice, because the pool itself is pretty big.

"The view was absolutely stunning, and the service was truly excellent — the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The kitchen was very well-equipped with all the necessary appliances, which made everything so convenient. We also loved the swing and theres free horse riding experience provided. it was such a unique and enjoyable touch."

The only minor downsides were that the jacuzzi water wasn’t hot during our stay, and there were quite a number of bugs at night, so it was a bit difficult to sit outside for long. Overall, though, it was a wonderful experience and we really enjoyed our time there.

"Stayed here whilst on a cycle tour in the region, on advice of a friend who lives in Bangkok and had stayed here previously. I was not disappointed. Absolutely charming traditional property on the river and run by a couple that clearly take pride in providing hospitality. I loved it here. Having stayed in everything from backpacker places to 5* hotels, this stay will be remembered fondly for a long time. An excellent evening meal was also provided at a fair price (I gave advance warning I'd need to eat when I booked). Highly recommended."

У меня в номере был сломанный переходник для европейской розетки. Хотелось бы, конечно, иметь возможность заряжать устройства без покупки своего собственного переходника.

"中式早餐以稀飯為主食，另有吐司果醬可以選擇，豐富配菜及紅烏龍茶飲、鮮奶，吃到飽。 民宿最棒的就是提供洗衣機、烘乾機，讓出外多天的旅人可以清洗一些髒衣服，超方便的、大推；房間面窗可看到花東縱谷美景，距離鹿野高台車程10分鐘很近，地點絕佳，民宿還免費出借腳踏車可以漫遊鹿野，可惜這次來不及使用到。 入住前最擔心的吃飯問題，民宿附近有草仔粿、紅豆餅(下午)，晚餐可以吃附近路口轉彎處的猛爸爸快炒，或到鹿野車站旁吃合菜，都不踩雷、好吃。"

Хозяин апартаментов будет жить в соседней комнате, через которую вам нужно проходить на кухню и ванную, имейте ввиду. Это не минус, но, кому-то может быть некомфортно.

"Super kind and helpful hosts (speak Spanish, English and French). Very big and well equipped rooms, hammocks and comfy seats to relax in the tropical garden, with various plants and trees... A restaurant just next door and a supermarket in short walking distance... only 15min to the airport... Very comfy bed and warm water shower... Would highly recommend this place!"

"Понравилось соотношение цена-качество. Апартаменты большие, есть кухня, столовая зона. Нам повезло с соседями, поэтому было комфортно, не было очереди в туалет и душ, друг другу не мешали. Но если вы любите уединение, то выбирать номер с общей ванной не стоит."

Прекрасные хозяева, малавийско-русская пара, очень приятные доброжелательные местные сотрудники. Вкусный завтрак, можно заказать и ужин, в том числе с рыбой из озера. Прямо из номера можно выходить купаться в озеро Ньяса (Малави). Магазинов поблизости нет, но когда хозяин встречает, можно заехать за покупками. Чайника нет в номерах, но сотрудники всегда предоставляли кипяток, а за небольшую плату можно заказать чай в любое время. Отличный вариант для знакомства со страной и озером!"
