"Отличный отель за свои деньги. В номере: кровать, душ, кондиционер, холодильник. Вряд ли вы будете в Бисау больше 1 ночи, а для такой ночевки этот отель прекрасен! Хозяин (Нико) очень отзывчивый."

У отеля нет ресепшена, это как большой частный дом. При входе сидел охранник, который говорил только на французском. Но он быстро позвонил хозяину, который оперативно пришел и меня заселил.

Als ik persé iets zou moeten noemen, is het het ontbreken van een kraan en wasbak in het keukenblok. Creatief met afwassen, door vullen van de aanwezige teil met de waterkoker, die je in de badkamer met een kommetje moet vullen, omdat hij niet onder de kraan past 😁 Maar goed, ik vond het zelf gewoon prima zo.

You can only charge your electronic devices if you give them to Andres (which is easy enough though because he is around a lot). And it's understandable given the location of the hostel.

Ac and wifi worked really well and you could use the kitchen for coffee. Jay and his dog were really helpful and friendly."

If you are a light sleeper, you might find the noise from the road (10m away) and the railway behind it excessive, as well as noise from the next door neighbours with small kids, etc.

"We had a truly great stay at Vila Davor, Turistička 8- Peštani. The location is phenomenal, at least in our case with small children, because the apartment is less than 10 meters from the private beach with sunbeds. In same house there is a beach bar and kayak and sup board rental. There is a supermarket and several restaurants of national cuisine nearby. As for sightseeing, the entire area around the lake and the Galicica National Park are a 15-20 minute drive away. The host is pleasant and ready to help in any way that would make the stay more pleasant (cheers Mishko). The house is a little bit older, but the apartment is clean and tidy. The kitchen is shared and with basic things as it is noted in the offer so that is not a complaint. It is a bit more difficult to park if you have a large vehicle, but the host can find you a safe and large parking lot in the immediate vicinity. And the biggest plus at least for us- they are pet friendly."

"My room was wonderful, airy, comfortable, clean with touches of local culture. Kevin was an excellent host, always cheerful, smiling, helpful. The bathroom was clean and the shower was spacious. The verandas are perfect. It was a great opportunity to stay amidst the local indigenous culture."

Ce sont des personnes accueillantes, généreuses et authentiques, toujours prêtes à partager leur culture, les lieux à découvrir et la gastronomie locale. "Monica and Nobert are amazing hosts. They are always there to help you. They know a lot about the area and the country so their advices are always welcomed. They are really nice to talk to and share a meal with. They have 2 nice kids. Like Monica told me, « they are a home, not an hotel » and it’s way better that way! :) The room was clean and confortable. The included breakfast was really delicious and huge and it changed every day. They offer to cook for you if you want to eat dinner with them which is really great. They offer a twin lakes tour which was amazing with a lot of informations."

The bathroom is a little small and it’s cold water, but you can get a bucket of hot water so it’s ok. It’s not so close to city center, but moto are easy to find to get there, or walk for a bit is possible.
