"Joan was a fabulous host! The cottage was beautiful, quiet and comfy with a fabulous bed. The gentle sounds of the wee lambs bleating and the cows bellowing was so homely. The tea, milk etc was a lovely thought and the whole cottage was so well kitted out. It was private and secure and we had a marvellous stay. Location-wise it was perfect. Duncannon and its lovely beach was closeby and as we cycle we were convenient to the Waterford Greenway. We had secure storage for our bicycles too. We could not have asked for more."

"It was a lovely clean comfortable and private cottage."

"Booking.com needs to be updated as the beach restaurant and pub is not a 2 minute walk it is a 3km drive. This was very disappointing as we would love to walk in the early morning or late evening and have a drink and listen to music in the evening."

"We had a fantastic stay at Rose Cottage. It was perfect. The children loved being able to step out of the front door and see all the lambs at sheep. There was plenty of room in the cottage, and everything was wonderfully clean. There was everything we could have needed on hand to make our stay comfortable. The cake and biscuits on arrival were a real hit. There was absolutely nothing we could fault about our stay. Would return in a heartbeat!"

"Es ist sehr hübsch eingerichtet, für 4 Personen reichen die Sitzplätze gerade. Man könnte noch die eine oder andere größere Tasse dazustellen, aber ansonsten fanden wir es recht gemütlich. Unsere Vermieterin war ein Schatz! Sehr aufmerksam und liebevoll und ausgesprochen nett!"

"In der Beschreibung von Booking.com wird das Cottage im Ort, in der Nähe des Strandes verortet. Das ist so nicht richtig. Es liegt in einem Bauernhof ca. 4 - 5 km von Duncannon, dem nächsten Strand, entfernt. Auch zum Bäcker und zum Einkaufen mussten wir leider mit dem Auto fahren."

"The location was stunning, right out in the mountains with a lovely (if lengthy) drive off the main roads. The views were amazing from pretty much every room. The house was warm, clean and spacious with everything we needed. We will definitely look at staying here again."

"Lovely little cottage 2 minute walk to Falcarragh shops, cafes, pubs and takeaways. 2 separate living areas, one with lounge and fire, the other part kitchen dining area. Rest of kitchen is like a butlers pantry in another room. Views from the dining area with the summer sunsets are absolutely beautiful if the weather is playing nice. We only met the host once who even offered to dry our clothes if needed and anything else needed. We enjoyed the privacy of the cottage to come and go as we pleased. There were only 2 of us. But the cottage would even suit two couples, friends or family with the 2 queen beds. Bathroom has shower only now, fresh and new. We stayed here almost 2 weeks and found it very central for all our touring and adventures. The Falcarragh beach is absolutely beautiful for late night summer walks when the sun does not set until 10pm. You can walk the few kms to get there, or drive a few minutes to start at beach."

"We stayed in the loft for a weekend and absolutely loved it. The place is beautiful and very rustic, perfect for a cosy and relaxing getaway. We brought our dog with us and he loved it too, which was a big bonus. The loft has all the amenities you need, including everything for cooking and storing food. The owner also thoughtfully provided cooking oil, sugar, coffee, and tea, which made our stay even more comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it."
