"Хороший отель, дружелюбный персонал, чисто в номере, удобные кровати. 1. Хорошее расположение отеля - в конце пешеходной улицы, около бассейна и крупного узла автобусных маршрутов, откуда можно уехать чуть ли не в любую точку города. 2. Хороший завтрак, блюда стандартные как и везде. Места на завтраке много, хоть и было вроде немало людей, места всем вполне хватало. Единственный отель в моей практике, где под конец предлагали после завтрака взять в номер кофе и фрукты. 3. Шторы в номере вообще не пропускали свет. В комнате становилось абсолютно темно. 4. Очень приветливые горничные, все с Украины. 5. Особенность Рейкьявика - холодную воду можно пить из под крана. Горячая вода имеет запах яиц. Но это так везде, так как горячая вода в город поступает из термальных источников. 6. В номере был чайник и чай с кофе."

"1. Интернет странно работал. Вроде как сеть есть, но интернета не было, иногда на время пропадала сеть. Пришлось одну zoom встречу проводить через мобильный интернет. Но абсолютно не критично. 2. Темно в ванной. Всю ванную освещает только 1 тусклая лампа над зеркалом. 3. В некоторых деталях какая-то неуклюжая планировка. Приходишь в номер, ни одной простой вешалки, чтобы повесить куртку. Если ставишь чемодан за дверью, где у для этого предусмотрено место, дверь настежь не открыть. В ванной около раковины негде повесить полотенце. 4. Между номерами хорошая звукоизоляция, соседей не слышно. Однако почему-то под входной дверью сделана каких-то неимоверных размеров цель. В результате слышно все, что происходит в коридоре, о чем говорят горничные и гости, и если кто-то идет по коридору и открывает свою дверь, ощущение, что заходят к тебе в номер. 5. Холодильник в номере был бы совсем не лишним."

"Smallest thing but coat hooks in the room would be useful, your always in heavy coats etc and need somewhere for them when you come back, the wardrobe is not really for this"

"This was my second stay at Fosshotel Lind and it was just as comfortable. It was clean and warm, the staff were just as lovely and welcoming as I remembered and the included breakfast had a wide, fresh selection to choose from. The location is perfect, it's within 2 to 3 minutes walk from bus stop 9 and 11 and across the road from stop 13 for tour pick ups and drop offs. There was a little tour desk/computer in the lobby that you can book tours from. There is a cosy lounge area that guests can sit in, with a small selection of hot and cold drinks and snacks that you can purchase. You can request housekeeping but this needs to be requested by midday the day before. The view of hallsgrimkirkja from my room was also an added bonus."

"The bathrooms are quite small, but I think that might be a common 'thing' in Icelandic hotels. But I knew this from my previous stay and wasn't an issue for me. Some other guests were also quite loud and slamming doors, but not enough to bother raising the issue. But i'm sure this would have been dealt with in a professional way if I had raised it with the staff."

"Stayed there for my 3rd visit. Clean, warm staff are very pleasant. Really good selection for breakfast. Very close to pick up/drop off point bus stop #13 for airport transfer and very close to the centre. Also very close is bus stop #12 where most companies pick up for tours."

"It felt a bit corporate compared to the other hotels we had stayed in. A fridge in the room would have been good. Staff varied, some were friendly and helpful, others were not!"

"The hotel is located only 80 metres from the Flybus stop from the airport. Check in was fast and efficient. The hotel is close to a food hall and convenience store and a 5 minute walk to the main tourist street"

"There were a couple of minor issues with the room which are probably quite common in Iceland: the heating in the room was too efficient. That combined with the very good doona made it hard to sleep. The shower was very small (2 small doors that folded in and out and didn't seal well) and water splashed under the doors wetting the bathroom floor"

"The hotel is relatively small, the staff is available and helpful. The breakfast was good (they offer buffet breakfast with classic eggs, vegetables, sweets), and it's a nice option to have, especially if you want to go out and start exploring early. The location is great, it's very close to the center, and you can walk from there to reach some famous places. The rooms are comfortable, there's everything necessary, and it's quiet."

"It's not a negative note, just be aware that the hotel's parking is a bit small, so if you arrive late, you might not find a spot there. But you can park in the neighborhood, after 21.00 and till 9.00 it's free. So just keep it in mind."
