Monkey Republic Kampot

"Прекрасный хостел по адекватной цене. Номер с вентилятором конечно очень душный, надо это понимать, от матраса у нас болели спины, но на 1 ночь нам было нормально, тем более за такие деньги. Очень красивый сад и кафе при отеле. Громко поют птички. Предлагают бас меню: автобусы в любое направление - Вьетнам, Сиануквиль, Ко Ронг… Мы из отеля уехали на Фукуок. Все бары и тусовки находятся по направлению к набережной, 7 минут пешком. Если дойти 5 мин до центра (статуя на кольце), там будет ночной рынок. За углом большой продуктовый супермаркет."

"Nice pool to swim in and lounge around, curtains on the dorm room beds and sturdy stairs up to top bunk. Two toilets and one shower for a room of 6- felt very generous. Great air conditioning in room. Friendly helpful staff. Great offer of tours and buses that could be booked at the hostel and pick up at the hostel. The hostel also had multiple yoga/dance classes a day, we decided to do a Bachata dance class and it was very relaxed, good fun Check-in/out was super smooth and efficient."

"Super lovely place, we had a double bed room with separate bathroom. The room was nice, . Pool is super, the breakfast is so good, the smothiibowl is the best, we ever had. Cocktails are delicious as well. I would suggest the watermelon daiquiri. The stuff is lovely. We had a great time there."

"In our bathroom was only the warm water very week. Not really possible to wash long hair with it. But this is not so important"

"First off this place is incredible value for money. The vibe is chilled and relaxed and peaceful. The hostel is situated in a leafy green garden with very nice cafe/bar that serves great breakfast, lunch and dinner options. There is a small pool with a few sun loungers around. Our double, private room was small but comfortable. We also had a private bathroom (wet room). This was a little tired and no hot water tap to the sink, but not really an issue. I was initially worried it would be noisy at night as it was a hostel! I was wrong! Everyone was very respectful of the 10pm noise curfew and we slept really well here."

"The hostel is in a quiet part of town, around a 15 minute stroll to the river front, but along the way there are plenty of shops and restaurants. There is a weird box (?) on top of a building adjacent that creates sound effects of birds. This is playing 24 hours and we believe it is designed to attract birds to nest so they can harvest the nests for birds nest soup! It is noisy but again, this didn't impact our sleep."

"There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room when we first got there but was fine once we got rid of them. There were speakers playing bird noises just outside the hostel all night but it didn’t stop us sleeping and the drains on the road to the hostel were pretty bad."
