"Тихий спокойный уголок острова Sanloem, вид из всех домиков прямо на море. Просторные домики с уютной террасой, на которой можно отлично почилить в жару днем или вечером перед сном. Количество лежаков соответствует количеству отдыхающих, так что нет проблем со свободными лежаками. Персонал встретил и проводил на лодочную станцию (откуда мы уплыли на другой остров). Еда в отеле хорошая, чуть дороже, чем в других местах, но вкусная."

"В душе горячая вода начинается, если спускать воду 5 минут (нагревательный газовый бак находится далеко), за четыре ночи проживания мне не хватило терпения ни разу дождаться горячей воды (мылся под холодной, не критично). До ближайших кафешек у моря -минут 10-12 пешком (поэтому в дневное время чтобы не сгореть на солнце мы были вынуждены есть при отеле, вечером же гуляли в другие места). В целом все понравилось, отличный тихий спокойный отель."

"Хотите просыпаться с видом на море с кровати - вам сюда. Вилла довольно большая и со всеми необходимыми удобствами. Есть даже небольшая ванна, что в целом редкость для Азии. Вода горячая в любое время суток. Отель располагается в стороне от тусовочной части острова, поэтому было довольно тихо и уединенно. Персонал супер услужливый и приветливый. Готовы сделать все, чтобы вам было комфортно. Завтрак очень неплохой и сытный. Кофе мне лично очень понравился, выпивала по две чашки сразу."

"Виллы очень устарели. Это никак не мешает проживанию, но создает впечатление, что стоимость неоправданно завышена. Небольшой косметический ремонт (особенно в ванной) не помешал бы. Поскрипывала кровать. Меню в ресторане очень скромное (дали бумажку с урезанной версией основного), видимо в не сезон не сильно рассчитывают на гостей-гурманов. Декабрь сезон ветров - это не время для остановки на этой стороне острова. Купаться на этом пляже в этом месяце вам не светит. В номере все время будет завывать ветер, а штормовое море все время будет выкидывать мусор на пляж."

"To be able to step from your cabana directly onto the sand and be 10 paces from the warm ocean is extraordinary. The care of the staff and the whole laid back environment is something you need to understand (or learn) about yourself. It is isolated, beautiful, peaceful and gives you time to relax in a busy life. One week recommended to get it. If you need it the internet is adequate. Bring books to satiate your mind. No roads, no challenges, only what you can make of it yourself. Nowhere to go. Couple of bars and restaurants to fill in your evenings. Beach bbq is awesome 400m away along the beach. If you seek peace this is your place."

"Not a don’t like. Just an obvious recommendation. Don’t eat anything that you would eat in Europe. Forget bacon and eggs (seems obvious). Go straight to the Cambodian menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. When in Cambodia go local. Duh!"

"This peaceful resort by the sea offered the perfect vacation. There was a wide variety of options for breakfast, and we also had lunch and dinner at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful."

"The Sol Beach Resort is a very cute resort in sync with the natural surroundings. It is built almost entirely in wood and slightly inset, so it blends into the trees which are spread all over the property. There were several thoughtful touches - hand sprays at the entry to every cottage to wash off the sand from your feet, hammocks and deck beds, etc. They have a plentiful supply of clean water from their own deep well. And they had kayaks and paddle boards available for us to use. The staff were very warm, friendly and hospitable with always a smile on their faces. It was great to interact with Mr Wong, Sokhom, Kanha and Lina who took personalised care of us. Nha at the spa was very deft and good with the massage with her firm hands."

"We took a 2nd row Tree Villa which said it is for 4 people. That may be so if you are a family with little children. With two grown up daughters it was a bit cramped for us. Plus they had barely any cupboard space to unpack our clothes, so we had to live out of our suitcases. But the biggest issue was a large glass window between the bathroom and room. While it had a dark tint, you could still see through it. They should have provided a roller blind for privacy."
