"Super place for the price. I had my own room with air con and a toilet and shower. It’s 800m about to the bus station and walking distance to most restaurants and stores in Savusavu. Practically next door to the historic Planters Club. Ron the owner is really kind and at the beginning drove me around to show me what I could do in Savusavu. I had a wonderful stay"

Sometimes it can get a bit noisy if the early morning ferry leaves for Suva a couple of times a week. I stayed in the front facing g the ocean. Maybe it was quieter at the back? But really there were no complaints

"Great location and generously sized apartment. beds and linen all good. Nespresso machine and pods a nice touch."

Some of the appliances are tired and therefore unreliable and need updating . The internal phones dont work so if there is a problem you have to call the reception in a building down the hill on your cell which if you are from abroad is an expensive exercise.

"Quiet, green, uncomformist to the Italian onslaught in the rest of Watamu, wel kept, and very kind personel. Plus great breakfast."

The fans could use an update.

В домике много щелей на улицу, вечером комары, обязательно нужно с собой брать электрический фумигатор, очень сильная слышимость, слабый вай фай, в ванной на полу долго остается вода.

Удобная кровать, стабильный и быстрый вай фай, розетки, шикарная просторная веранда где можно посидеть отдохнуть на свежем воздухе и просушить вещи, кухня где есть все необходимое чтобы приготовить и хранить продукты, несколько уборных, а также большой отдельный обеденный стол где можно комфортно поесть. "The room was very beautiful and comfortable. The food was excellent. The best we had in the Dominican Republic so far and the price is extremely reasonable. The staff was professional and friendly. I would definitely go back for the food and for the comfortable room."

We had to change room as we didn’t know from the description, that it was in a shared apartment. That information should be clear on booking.

Malheureusement été déçus par le jacuzzi qui ne fonctionnait pas. C'est le point qui nous a le plus dérangés et qui a gâché le séjour car j'ai payé un supplément pour profiter de cette option avec mes enfants cela devait être une surprise. Je tiens tout de même à remercier le membre du personnel qui a tenté de faire une réparation. Malgré ses efforts et sa bonne volonté, le problème n'a pas pu être résolu. C'est dommage de ne pas avoir pu en profiter durant notre séjour.

"Great location and the scenery was beautiful. Very nice and peaceful atmosphere. Located on hill tops and the views were amazing! Perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature. Surrounded by trees and was entertained by monkeys swinging through the branches. The rooms were also very spacious and allowed a comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient and meals were delivered to the room. Staff were very accommodating and overall had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay."

"The property was maintained well. Unfortunately, at times there were dog poop in the walk way. Thankfully that was later cleaned, but I hope the dogs can be poop in the bushes and not where the guest walks."

The female owner was not helpful when asked for a meal/something to eat outside of the lunch hour. Also, at times she was overheard having loud fusses that could have been done in private when the guests were not around.

"The position. I was very skeptical due to bad reviews on booking.com but I found a well maintained and peaceful place. I was staying in a superior room, so can’t comment on the standard ones."

Restaurant choice was very limited but food was good

"Отличный бюджетный отель в Виктории Фолс. Номер чистый, кровати и подушки удобные. Был холодильник, чайник. Территория большая и комфортная. Находится не очень далеко от центра городка, но вечером лучше ехать на такси, нас предупредили, что могут ходить слоны. Нам они не встретились."

"Wow! This is the perfect place to relax in nature along the beautiful Zambezi River. Superb service and amazing rooms. We truly felt well taken care of from beginning to end during our stay at Tongabezi."

"Everything. In summer, when the site is full of campers, the view from the cabin would be obscured by tents. But, end of September, when we visited, our view was green lawns sloping down to the river. Lovely."

Booking.com told us it was 7 miles from Vianden. It is not. 22-24 depending which route you choose. We had planned to go the 7 miles back to Vianden for dinner, but 22 winding miles? No.

"This magical place in the hills is owned and run by Thierry who puts a great deal of care, detail and consideration into his guest's stay. His love of the land, plants and animals is evident. Thierry gave us a tour of the property plus an amazing breakfast which included a whole tasting activity with different jams and chocolate / cheese spreads ! The bed was very comfortable. We loved the jucazzi at night whilst stargazing We enjoyed relaxing in the morning looking out over the view."

Please note if you are walking it is a steep climb back up the hill.
