Modi Lodge is quite hidden and set in a remote area. It offers a peaceful and secluded atmosphere, which can be great if you’re looking to unwind, but it also means that getting around is difficult without your own transportation. Public transport and taxis are limited in that part of Curaçao, so without a car you won’t be able to easily reach beaches, restaurants, shops, or other attractions on the island.

"Great location and the scenery was beautiful. Very nice and peaceful atmosphere. Located on hill tops and the views were amazing! Perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature. Surrounded by trees and was entertained by monkeys swinging through the branches. The rooms were also very spacious and allowed a comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient and meals were delivered to the room. Staff were very accommodating and overall had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay."

"Прекрассный отель , тихое уютное место на природе , как у бабушки в деревне , просыпаешся под бодрое кукарекание а по участку бегают курочки и уточки )). приветливые и отзывчивые хозяева , завтрак вкусный без излишевств . номер убирают каждый день. В отеле напротив можно обедать и ужинать порции большие так же есть бассейн."

"Breakfast was fine - just remember to inform the owner the day before if you require breakfast. Ingrid, the co-owner, is a lovely woman and a fine, traditional cook. You will never leave the table hungry! Whilst she can offer beer at an extra cost, we tended to buy our own along with wine to drink at dinner. Again, you will need to inform Ingrid on the day if you require dinner later. There is no choice; me and my wife are both omnivores with no allergies or intollerances, and always liked what she prepared! Our lodge was spacious with a generous deck overlooking the beautiful gardens, and the sea in the background."

A small fridge in our lodge would have been a great bonus - however, we were free to use Ingrid's fridge. The shower was also a little on the dribbly side!

"Останавливались на 2 ночи в этой скрытой жемчужине в лесу. Хозяин, его семья и все работники - невероятные, спасибо огромное за гостеприимство, за прекрасную территорию, где есть и полное уединение, и в то же время все необходимые удобства. Все, начиная от напитков при встрече, заканчивая горячей ванной после ужина - продумано до мелочей. В это место можно приехать как ради подъема на водопады, так и просто укрыться в лесу и отдохнуть от всего в тишине. Рекомендуем пробовать ужин из местных продуктов и домашнюю чачу."

"Location is wonderful, no need to leave the place, you have treks and walks in the reserve. Food is wonderful also. The attention is great."

"The room was beautiful opening up to a sea view. Could go kayaking from just outside the room. The lodge had kayaks and life jackets available to guests. Could also go fishing or swimming - just idyllic! The staff were also really helpful. I would most definitely stay here again."

I can’t think of anything i didn’t like

"Симпатичный домик с красивым видом на озеро, который частично закрыт деревьями. Сразу от дома идёт тропа в лес, по которой можно обойти озеро."

По информации от хозяина в доме техническая вода, не пригодная для питья и готовки. Скорее всего это вода из озера. А питьевую воду надо приносить в 5л бутылках из родника за~ 600 м от домика. Другие дома близко к домику, в соседнем доме шел ремонт, сверлили

"Friendly supportive staff. The log cabin accommodation was warm, comfortable and beautifully unique in the attention to detail, artistically designed carved wood, stretched leather, fur chair and stone framed mirror. Husky ride was fun learning about their training from friendly staff. Highly recommended for a comfortable and unique experience."

Couldn’t improve this stay it was excellent. Just wish I could have stayed longer.

"Очень хороший лодж. Уровень высокий. Лучший наш выбор в Намибии, если честно. Номера небольшие, но отремонтированы и новые - пахнет еще ремонтом. Бассейн есть, маленький спортзал есть , территория очень красивая - прям на ней гуляют животные. Для меня самым большим плюсом было то, что просто Очень Вкусно! И завтрак, и ужин."

Темноваты номера . Меня не смутило, но для кого-то может Быть не лучшей опцией. Зато новые! 🆕

"A little gem of a hotel in a most beautiful location. The staff give an extremely warm reception, they are super friendly, very helpful and very knowledgeable about the area and what can be done…..if they didn’t know, they knew someone who does. For example, they arranged a night watching the turtles and a guide to walk some local waterfalls. The food was out of this world, fresh and local produce cooked by chefs who’ve been cooking their whole life."

"L’accueil était formidable ! Attendez bien qu’elle vous envoie les bonnes directions par ce que sur booking ce n’est pas clair ! La maison est super mignon , très bien placé ( au calme ) et bien décorée. Moi je suis hollandaise donc je n’avais pas de problème avec l’escalier hyper pentu et les marches très étroite !"

"Очень понравился этот отель — один из лучших, в которых я был за последние полгода. Чисто, красиво, приятный запах в номере. Из окна открывается красивый вид, есть бесплатная парковка. Очень вкусный завтрак: подавали восхитительные круассаны, фрукты, медовые соты, свежевыжатый сок и отличный кофе. В отеле всего четыре номера, поэтому очень тихо, и никто не мешает наслаждаться прекрасными горными видами Андорры. О персонале хочется сказать отдельно: это очень приятные люди, всегда готовые помочь с любым вопросом, посоветовать вкусное вино к ужину и сделать ваш отдых незабываемым. В номере всё было чисто, удобная кровать, душ и ванна, которую можно принять после прогулки по горам. Очень вкусные коктейли в баре. Огромное спасибо за гостеприимство, обязательно вернемся еще раз."
