"The friendly staff, warm welcome, excellent food.. All inclusive. The water!!"

Nothing big . A small thing. Local food was only from one region of Uganda. A bit predictable too. But otherwise amazing food

"Location is wonderful, no need to leave the place, you have treks and walks in the reserve. Food is wonderful also. The attention is great."

Was a bit musty smelling, but after being opened up and aired out and a candle or two it was perfect.

"This property was tucked away in the rain forest. Alejandro was exceptional, his knowledge of nature and the beneficial properties of plants from his garden which he had specifically grown was like having a professor with us all the time. He and His wife Christiana also incorporated some of the fruit and vegetables into our stunning breakfasts which were freshly prepared each morning.. Alejandro was incredibly helpful booking restaurants. He always greeted us with a smile and was a perfect host. We felt perfectly relaxed by the end of the stay."

Would have liked more light, and water pressure but to be honest we didn’t mention it to him so he could fix it.

"Отель находится не очень далеко от пирса, в пешей доступности от отеля находится овощная лавка, два магазина и заправка. Персонал очень приветливый и дружелюбный. В отеле много общих зон, где можно приятно провести время. Бунгало было новым, чистым и очень светлым. Кондиционера в бунгало нет, но с наступлением темноты температура внутри быстро снижается, а днем я был на пляже. Еда вкусная. Две бутылки воды предоставляют каждый день, так же на ресепшен можно налить воду в бутылку. Приятно порадовала возможность взять лед на ресепшен."

Это не совсем минус, а скорее особенность - уборку номера, на сколько я понял, могут произвести по запросу. Полотенца поменяли по запросу без каких либо проблем.

"Beautiful surroundings, so calm. The host is incredibly helpful and kind. This refuge is his personal project, and you can see his passion. The surrounding villages are small but lovely to walk through. There are nice hikes possible, including to the peak of Mount Agou, the people on the paths will kindly guide you to your destination. They are truly kind."

The location on the map is slightly off, ask for a pin before you arrive to make sure you find the right place!

"A little gem of a hotel in a most beautiful location. The staff give an extremely warm reception, they are super friendly, very helpful and very knowledgeable about the area and what can be done…..if they didn’t know, they knew someone who does. For example, they arranged a night watching the turtles and a guide to walk some local waterfalls. The food was out of this world, fresh and local produce cooked by chefs who’ve been cooking their whole life."

"Haiko is a wonderful person who welcomed us upon arrival at the lodge and provided us with excellent directions to the island's beaches and restaurants/bars. The property is strategically located for reaching both the stunning northern beaches and Arikok National Park. We appreciated the lush vegetation surrounding the lodges and the chirping birds that accompanied us during breakfast. Each lodge respects privacy and is equipped with all the amenities, making it a delightful stay."

"Beautiful place. We stayed with family in three different rooms. Beautiful views, spacious and clean rooms. The ladies that clean the hotel were very nice. We got there early, left our things in a locker and went to flamenco beach and returned to access our rooms by a door code. The room was amazing with a small kitchen with kitchen utensils, towels and beach towels. The rooms had great air conditioner and there was a constant breeze outside that we could enjoy the balcony as well. I think the room Was even more spacious than the website pictures. ☺️"

Хозяин, его семья и все работники - невероятные, спасибо огромное за гостеприимство, за прекрасную территорию, где есть и полное уединение, и в то же время все необходимые удобства. Все, начиная от напитков при встрече, заканчивая горячей ванной после ужина - продумано до мелочей. В это место можно приехать как ради подъема на водопады, так и просто укрыться в лесу и отдохнуть от всего в тишине. Рекомендуем пробовать ужин из местных продуктов и домашнюю чачу."

"Beautiful views of Apia. We literally had the whole place to ourselves. It provided a calm quiet space that we didn't expect."

Unfortunately there were a few minor issues when we arrived, that eventually got sorted. Given the circumstances of the week prior & sending our condolences to the family, I'm not surprised things were a little off the mark. A broom in the unit be great to keep the floors free of bugs & dirt. We still loved our stay regardless.
