Modi Lodge is quite hidden and set in a remote area. It offers a peaceful and secluded atmosphere, which can be great if you’re looking to unwind, but it also means that getting around is difficult without your own transportation. Public transport and taxis are limited in that part of Curaçao, so without a car you won’t be able to easily reach beaches, restaurants, shops, or other attractions on the island.

"Очень понравился этот отель — один из лучших, в которых я был за последние полгода. Чисто, красиво, приятный запах в номере. Из окна открывается красивый вид, есть бесплатная парковка. Очень вкусный завтрак: подавали восхитительные круассаны, фрукты, медовые соты, свежевыжатый сок и отличный кофе. В отеле всего четыре номера, поэтому очень тихо, и никто не мешает наслаждаться прекрасными горными видами Андорры. О персонале хочется сказать отдельно: это очень приятные люди, всегда готовые помочь с любым вопросом, посоветовать вкусное вино к ужину и сделать ваш отдых незабываемым. В номере всё было чисто, удобная кровать, душ и ванна, которую можно принять после прогулки по горам. Очень вкусные коктейли в баре. Огромное спасибо за гостеприимство, обязательно вернемся еще раз."

над кроватью не было сетки от комаров. вода в бассейне была не прозрачная но люди купались.

"The accommodation is in a great location, just a few meters from the ocan and the centre - cafés, restaurants, and bars are all within walking distance. The place was clean, the room was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent, and we also made use of the hotel’s pool, which was a nice bonus."

As for the negatives, the first thing that surprised us was the arrival - when we got there in later afternoon, the night guard simply waved his hand to indicate where our room was, without giving us any further information. Unfortunately, the staff in general were not very friendly or welcoming. I should also mention that payment was accepted only in cash, which was quite surprising since we had no issues paying by card anywhere else in El Salvador. Overall, I would probably come back again.

The room could be a bit more clean, and the breakfast could be more rich .

"What an awesome place! Middle of the jungle with a great pool, nice coctails and nice food. The staf was very nice and went above and beyond to help us. We forgot some luggage and they helped us retreiving it. So nice!"

"The people who run the Lodge are absolutely lovely. We had dinner and breakfast both of which were very well cooked and tasty."

I found the bed a little uncomfortable and i would prefer 2 pillows per person. The driveway is steep...a little intimidating for us Europeans! But we had a 4 wheel drive so we were fine.

"Nina is a charming and caring host who gave us great tips on things to do and places to eat. The property is wonderful, the rooms spacious, comfortable and cozy and the breakfast was delicious!! We should have stayed longer!!!"

A little hard to find.

"A little gem of a hotel in a most beautiful location. The staff give an extremely warm reception, they are super friendly, very helpful and very knowledgeable about the area and what can be done…..if they didn’t know, they knew someone who does. For example, they arranged a night watching the turtles and a guide to walk some local waterfalls. The food was out of this world, fresh and local produce cooked by chefs who’ve been cooking their whole life."

Одна розетка в комнате не работала, соответственно, не работал и светильник, подключенный к ней. В ящиках для цветов на балконе (их было два), были засохшие прошлогодние растения. Если нет было возможности высадить красивые цветы, можно было бы просто убрать ящики.

"Прекрассный отель , тихое уютное место на природе , как у бабушки в деревне , просыпаешся под бодрое кукарекание а по участку бегают курочки и уточки )). приветливые и отзывчивые хозяева , завтрак вкусный без излишевств . номер убирают каждый день. В отеле напротив можно обедать и ужинать порции большие так же есть бассейн."

"Nalazi se na savrsenom mestu sa jako lepom plazom. Bungalovi su skromni ali ok. Postoji opcija klime ali mora ranije da se najavi! Hrana je izvrsna, imaju jako zanimljive izlete po ok cenama. Odlazak na kornjace ne treba propustiti!!! Osoblje je sjajno."
