Hôtel le Postillon is a small family hotel located 1 minute from the center of Echternach, in the Mullerthal region and close to the German border. We welcome you since June 2023 in a completely renovated setting. It offers soundproofed, simply furnished rooms. All rooms feature cable TV, table and chairs, armchairs and en suite bathrooms. WIFI connection available throughout the building. The hotel offers a continental breakfast buffet served daily from 07:30 to 10:00. Beautiful walks along the river just 5 minutes walk. Beautiful walks along the safe are available to you 5 minutes walk. The basilica and its abbey are a 2-minute walk away. Lake Echternach, which has opened a swimming area, is a 15-minute walk away. Various forest walks in the Mullerthal are accessible by car or on foot. The main train station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Several supermarkets or shopping center are nearby. Luxembourg City, with its Notre-Dame Cathedral and National Museum of Art and History, is a 30-minute drive away. Vianden Castle is a 35-minute drive away. Paid parking spaces, 50cts per hour from Monday to Saturday, are on the street. The hotel does not offer a parking space. The rooms are spread over 3 floors.

"Great location, but room still quiet. Lovely breakfast in the morning and a nice late check out time as standard."
"As we were arriving in the evening after their standard check in times we had advised our 7-8pm arrival time but as flight was 1.5hrs late, we then worried whether they’d still be there for us as we were arriving after 8pm. A stress that could be avoided somehow perhaps. But the lady was there to greet us and all was fine!"
"The breakfast was various. The room was nicely decorated and confortable enough for three people. The terrasse was a real plus. The location is perfect to trek around Echternach, you can easily park your car in the city free parkings."
"The breakfast was a little bit too salty. The sofa bed was unfortunately not so confortable but the beds were nice. Sometimes there is an "air" noise coming from outside, it forces us to close the windows (there is no AC that we could control in the room)"

"The hotel is located close to the main square. The room was spacious with a big bathroom and a balcony, comfortable bed including. There are a few parking places in the front but parking time is limited to 2hrs."

"Wat een prachtige plek om te verblijven. Het uitzicht gaat geen moment vervelen. Mooi om vanaf het terras de zon op te zien komen. Voor kinderen is de grote tuin heerlijk om in te kunnen spelen. Binnen is meer dan voldoende kastruimte in de slaapkamers, keuken en badkamer. De eigenaren hebben ons vriendelijk ontvangen en ook gedurende het verblijf waren ze goed bereikbaar voor vragen en was het contact prettig. Er lag een map met allerlei praktische informatie over Luxemburg en ideeën voor uitstapjes."
