"Sami is a great host and conversation partner. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The lobby is spacious and cosy - perfect to drink coffee, read a book or watch the news on TV. The location is perfect if you want to get to know Aqabat Jabr (refugee camp). You can reach Jericho city center by foot."

"The owners were very friendly and invited us to join them for Iftar. The beds were clean and comfortable, there is free WiFi and hot water"

"Samis hostel is in the most perfect and central location in a very well known Palestinian neighbourhood called Aqbat Jabr. There is a warm and friendly Palestinian community outside the hostel with shops and a restaurant. Buses run frequently from outside the hostel to the city centre of Jericho. Sami is a friendly host and the hostel offers a comfortable lounge area. The room was clean, the bed comfortable with air con. "The family and staff at Sami Hostel are very very welcoming and helpful. We got to share an iftar there and Saleh helped us get a taxi one time when we needed a ride back to the Hostel. All in all we had an unforgettable time in Jericho."

"The Hostel is the in a camp and a 30 minutes walk away from the city center, which is a lot during hours of peak temperature. But taxi and busses commute regularly and is not a problem if you are willing to pay."

"“Made to feel welcome” is an understatement. Essam and Yazid are wonderful hosts. They were friendly, sociable and very interesting to talk to. At the same time, they were respectful and gave guests plenty of space. My room was excellent, with a comfortable bed, and they clearly make an effort to keep everything clean. They were also incredibly responsive and made life much easier for a non-Arabic speaker."

"Останавливалась в в бараках. Просто восторг. Очень атмосферно. Ресторан великолепен, обедали и ужинали там. завтрак выше всяких похвал. Персонал очень добродетельный, старается угодить, чествуешь себя желанным гостем. Обязательно посетите музей, посвященный Израиле-Палестинскому конфликту. Мы там залипли часов на 5. Очень интересная экспозиция. Обязательно возьмите экскурсию в лагерь беженцев, проводят местные палестинцы. Это даст вам представление об ужасах, в которых живет палестинский народ. При возможности установитель на пару дней. Чтобы 1 день посвятить прогулкам по Вифлеему, а второй - музей, экскурсия, и обязательно пообедайте/поужинайте в ресторане по меню. Их фирменный салат Walled Off великолепен!"
