"Peace, calm, quiet, creative, soulful, great staff, Matar, Nima, and Mame Cheikh au Top ! if I could I would have booked it for a month. This place is a must if you want an escape from the craziness of Dakar. If you're an artist, or a group of friends, The house is clean, crazy/funny decorated, very creative, the owner is a famous photographer videographer and you have access to his material. such a great place and an underrated treasure. Some would say expensive, I would say first :No, it's not, compared to anything around and especially in Dakar. Last but not least every house with a soul has a price."

"The location of the lodge is simply stunning. It sits right on the water, surrounded by nature, and you can see all kinds of beautiful birds throughout the day. The property itself is extremely clean and stylish, with a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that makes it very easy to unwind. The food is delicious, and the breakfast is especially wholesome with plenty of variety. I loved watching the birds come by in the morning as if they were coming to say hello. The rooms are very comfortable and I slept incredibly well during my stay. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Even though my French is almost zero, they always made an effort to understand me and made me feel very welcome. There is honestly nothing bad to say — this place is a little paradise. I truly hope to come back one day. Thank you for such a wonderful stay."

"The place was lovely with nice clean large rooms and a powerful hot shower. The bed was comfortable too. Catherine who runs the place was 10/10! Lovely helpful and thoroughly nice woman. She could not do enough to help us and even came out on the street at 7:30am and hailed us a taxi and negotiated the fee with the driver!"
