"It is a beautiful place to stay , very clean and nice staff. Highly recommended. Very local to shops, restaurants and transportation. Yet very quite, you wouldn't know it is in the town center. Great Turkish breakfast! We really enjoyed our stay ."

"The property is conveniently situated near Ege University which suited our needs. We loved the backyard where you can enjoy a very nice dinner and superb breakfast. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed. All members of the staff were there to help us with everything we asked them. Very polite and always with a smile on their face!"

"The wifi is not working properly but that is a general problem in the city. We stayed from Friday till Monday and there were weddings on Saturday and Sunday so it can get a bit noisy until midnight but other than that the room is very quiet."

"The property needs a little care and maintenance. The WiFi didn’t reach my room. I felt a little overlooked in the restaurant and on my last morning they seemed to forget I was staying there as they hadn’t laid out breakfast."

"Great breakfast, beautifully decorated & spacious rooms, along with a huge garden. The hotel is an old levantine mansion from late ottoman period, so you can feel the history every step you take. Helpful stuff and very central location for Bornova as well!"

"After experiencing miles of terrible Turkish architecture, this was a real gem in the middle of the University District of Bornova, a suburb of Izmir. A beautiful garden and porch surround this traditional Ottoman villa with an outdoor seating area and dining area with a brazier to keep you warm. We had an enormous room with a huge bed and an amazingly comfortable mattress, nice bed linen and a modern power shower. The staff were very nice and welcoming."

"The staff were lacking in professionalism, clearly not trained in hospitality. The young woman in reception , was polite upon checkin but later in the day shoved passed me . As a 67 year old well groomed woman I am unused to what I consider the height of rudeness . Restaurant staff seem inexperienced also"
