The restaurant in the hotel was great, breakfast tasty and especially the seafood was super! The overall atmosphere was relaxed and cozy and the staff very kind and helpful. Kasia is an exceptional host – warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. She went above and beyond by organizing a beautiful birthday surprise, which made our stay truly unforgettable. At all times, we felt supported and looked after. The accommodation is very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The food was excellent, and Kasia also organized a fantastic boat trip to the island, where we were lucky enough to see dolphins – an amazing experience! "I liked how it felt like home and it all started from the reception. Kasia made us(my wife and daughter) feel very comfortable and informed about the place. She is a very friendly, energetic and easygoing lady who strives to make your stay as comfortable as it can be. The place is located on the beachfront and we had a cozy stay and a nice walk over the beautiful white sandy beach. The hotel can also arrange a boat ride and snorkeling trip to the island close-by."

The food was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared every day. Kasia is an exceptional host — warm, caring, and full of fascinating stories about the true life of Zanzibar. She goes above and beyond to make every guest’s wish come true. While my husband enjoyed his fishing trip, I was treated to a relaxing massage and a beautiful henna tattoo. "Probably the nicest staff I had on my whole trip. The family that owns the hotel connects with you on a daily level and always tries to help you if you have questions or problems. The room was very spacious, with lovely decorations, when I arrived. Very nice breakfast with a wonderful view from their terrace. The staff also prepared a fish for me, which I had caught while I was fishing, and they really did a fantastic job with it., also the restaurant in general was really tasty. This hotel felt like being at home and being part of it, compared to standard, anonymous-style hotels. It is also perfect for scuba divers who use one of the many dive shops for dives at the Mnemba atoll. Also, a newly built street makes it possible to drive directly to the hotel without issues, just trust Google Maps. Definitely would come back :)"

"The beach is not always usable, but this is a general thing on the East Coast of Zanzibar, depending on the tide. It is a fishing town so it also has a lot of boats on the beach, so it is not comparable with the beaches of Paje, but still lovely."
