"Delicious breakfast every morning, nicely presented in a picnic style basket and served in a closed in patio with beautiful view and fireplace for cold mornings. Freshly baked croissants, rolls and muffins. Every day the egg dish is new, or can be adjusted to your own taste. Our rooms were big, well equipped, spotless with lovely underfloor heating. Host and other staff were all very friendly, professional and accommodating. Can highly recommend!"

"Located in a very nice area with beautiful views, the place is very clean and immaculate. The room was big and the bed super comfortable. The location was perfect nearby some very nice wineries, and also next to De Zalze golf. Breakfast was very enjoyable sitting in the beautiful garden."

"The view is incredible. The breakfasts are delicious (the pastries and croissants were SO fresh), and the attention to detail is impressive. The rooms are beautifully decorated. The glass house where we worked and had breakfast was so quaint and comfortable. The views from there are lovely. Richard and Bart, our hosts, made the stay very memorable and special. They are so professional and welcoming and do everything with excellence. Cape Vermeer will definitely be our go-to place when we stay in that part of the Cape."

"This is a #1 Guesthouse. It is easy to see why it gained the Tripadvisor Travellers Choice Best of the Best 2021/22/23! Richard the host was outstanding. He took a personal interest in our enjoyment and satisfaction at the property. The breakfast was outstanding in every respect, with care and attention to the provision of fresh ingredients and freshly cooked dishes. The bed comfort is superior with mattresses that provided excellent support and comfort. Finally, the setting is wonderful with views over False Bay and the Heldeberg Mountain. What more could you ask for.....! We have visited Somerset West for over 20 years and this is by far the best accomodation experience we have enjoyed. We will certainly return."
