"Dinner at Zen was fantastic - sushi and other dishes were fantastic. The bar staff there were lovely though as were the other staff. Lots of entertainment and activities provided. Resort is beautiful."

"Dinner at Azure was not worth the money - the lobster pasta came cold and the lemon sauce with the pasta was disgusting - the pasta wasn't even proper pasta. Prices were expensive overall for what the resort was. Annoyingly, the wifi went down one day and another day we couldn't use the pool without any warning."

"Layout, design, facilities were exceptional. We had a pop in our apartment which was a delight."

"The room and the 1887 bar was lovely. The gift shop and general food store were very handy and had just what we needed e.g. souvenirs, snacks, toiletries. The breakfast was a good buffet offering and the staff on the egg station were absolutely amazing."

"My room was amazing we used every part from the tub to the outside pool. It was great to host and allow others to experience a fraction of the Crane experience. The sea view was incredible such a joy to wake up to hearing waves crashing and the sun beating down."

"The cost for the breakfast buffet was expensive and the food on the occasion I tried it wasn't hot but just warm."

"We keep trying to like the south coast of Barbados and The Crane is a lovely resort but it's in the wrong location for us. The beach is lovely and well kept. In fact everywhere is well kept but the sea is not the same sea as the platinum coast. Not turquoise. Not calm. It's the Atlantic and the churn of it brings a lot of seaweed. And though they were trying really hard with a digger to till the sand and remove the seaweed they couldn't clear it quick enough. And for the same money, even though this was a hotel with a kitchenette and plenty of facilities in house, we felt we'f prefer to spend the same money on an apartment on the west coast and walk to the nice restaurants along front instead."

"Crane resort is lovely, easy with kids. There is parking and we had a hire car which made travel around the island easier. Crane beach is beautiful but wilder than the calmer west coast beaches. We extended our stay due to hurricane beryl - changed from a traditional style to contemporary style room. The contemporary apartments are very well equipped and stylishly decorated."

"Everyone was incredibly friendly, the room was very spacious and in a great location. The pools being open late was fantastic. Food was also great and loved having the variety of options. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay - massive thank you to Tamisha who helped my boyfriend - now fiancé - organise the most beautiful proposal. We loved every second and will definitely be coming back."

"Location is perfect for people that prefer not leaving the resort as it is quite far from lively St Laurence gap area. If you are the type to want to explore it might be worth staying at the resort for the few days of luxury then changing to a livelier location."
