"My son and I spent three weeks traveling around Puerto Rico and this was a wonderful addition to our trip. I love Pitahaya's focus on sustanability and eco traveling, the exclusion of single use water bottles (BRAVO) and attention to composting and recycling. This is something rarely seen on the island and greatly needed. The mattress in the tent was very comfortable and I absolutely loved showing under the stars. A great way to camp if you are unable to bring your personal camp gear or are simply looking for a more comfortable camping experience."

The main light in our tent would only last for a few seconds. We weren't aware that it was motion activated and that made it challenging to play board games and read at night.

"This is a great example how a passionate and lovely host turns a simple but beautiful accomodation into a five star place, in harmony with the surrounding nature. We loved every moment here and definitely want to come back."

"I stayed 8 nights in a tent in a beautiful, tropical garden just a few meters from the sea. Sunki, the manager and William, the owner are great people, they arrange things for you, it was very helpfull. The kitchen is great, it has everything you need for cooking. There is a fan inside the tent, everything was nicely prepared. I am so greatfull, I have been in this wonderfull place."

"It’s was perfect for me. The full experience from booking process, finding the location, meeting with the people responsible for the place. Great kitchen and accommodations. Super confy. Very quite with an amazing view. You can see the stars reflections on the lake. Fish made by Vincent was mmmm. Delicious. What else, Oh!! Learning more about the lake and people living around was an amazing experience. The place was built with love and harmony with the nature around. If you need a place to recharge- I highly recommend this one."

"This is glamping with so much adventure and fun. It was perfect for a family with kids and the privacy of the tent area is huge. The free BBQ amenities including charcoal and wood are also great. We just brought our BBQ menu are off for a glamping BBQ night. Winter time the temps drop to almost 10 degrees during our stay and there is no heater inside so it was difficult to sleep."

I wish they manage special occasions with a nice arrangement. A simple one birthday greeting for a child could mean a lot to their memories

The staff was kind of noisy in the morning, especially by the kitchen.

"Мы понимали, что выбираем очень своеобразный отель! Даже наш гид и водитель были удивлены такому выбору 😊 Но мы остались под очень приятным впечатлением! Кемпинг необычный, место интересное. Сама идея классная , а когда нас повезли на лодке по реке, мы просто ощутили полный восторг: тишина, птицы, буйволы. Спасибо сопровождающему за уважение к тишине - он не пытался говорить и не испортил эту прекрасную тишину! Электричества не было, но был прекрасный ужин с факелами и костром. И завтрак после сафари тоже нам понравился. Вокруг гуляли вараны 😁 Спать было комфортно. Основные удобства в палатке есть. Несмотря на походные условия, мы чувствовали себя персонами. Спасибо большое за такую идею отдыха для туристов и ее прекрасное воплощение!"

"A small cabin in the woods, crown lands around allowing you to walk or hunt, no electricity, no phone network. A wood stove and candles. What's not to like?"

The road to get there is hard if you have a sedan especially after a snow storm.

It is hard to think of something i did not like. Overall the experience was great.
