The shower head hose kept popping off when the water pressure was increased, and the walls are paper thin unfortunately.

A little noise with clubs next door, the workers do not have autonomy to take a desicion to help the guests. Location is a little hard to find.

You have to walk a bit from the port, not much but if you have a lot of bags it's a but difficult. We met 1 staff person who was not friendly at all, and wanted to charge us for something we didn't break..

"What a fabulous spot!! I enjoyed my stay here so much!! We met the owner before checking in and he was so friendly. The view was spectacular!! The shower was a scene right out of a movie. It was such a nice and peaceful spot. It was right across the street from Maya Moon Cafe. A place to unwind and meet new people and eat yummy food! Not too far from in town to San Marcos. The positives definitely outweighed the negatives!!"

If you are not a semi fit person, this place is not for you...especially if you’re not used to this altitude like we weren’t. To get to the house, you have to walk up a very steep hill. My husband is a fit military guy and even he was a bit winded walking up. I recommend using a backpack for your luggage when staying at this house. Sadly, we did not and it was a difficult walk. We also had to park our rental on the side of the road. No actual parking spot. If you are not ok with taking a shower or using the toilet out in the open, this place isn’t for you either. Lots of spiders around too but that’s expected.
