"The welcome we received and the beautiful hidden gem of a garden filled with the scent of jasmine. The host was also very accommodating and guided us to the start of the voie verte next morning so we could continue our cycle trip. It was also within easy walking distance of the town centre."

"This was the perfect place for us, a short walk into the City 10 mins. La Salamandre was a little haven to come back to after a day out, it had such a relaxing, quirky vibe and our host was lovely and welcoming. We would recommend paying for breakfast, it was a nice way to start the day and go and take some time to sit outdoors in their garden area.... the smell of the jasmine was just wonderful. There are plenty of restaurants nearby to eat. We really enjoyed our stay (we booked the superior suite) well worth it if it's in budget."
"There wasn't anything we didn't like... but did get a little surprise at learning there is no toilet door in the room... it is simply partitioned off! We stayed in the superior suite which is worth it for the views outside."
"We had an apartment there for 1 night, which had a separate entrance, 2 bedrooms and a WC which according to Booking.com it didn't have. It's a short walk into town where there are plenty of places to choose from for food and drink."

"The property is like home from home the owners are so lovely and accommodating, I messaged ahead of time to see if there was somewhere we could leave our bags until checkin time as we are coming at 10 he advised there was. We arrived at 9.40 walked in to the most amazing smell from breakfast the accommodation is so homely he let us into our room and check in. The room was massive so much space, breakfast was beautiful with a wide variety to choose from. We will definitely keep this as an option if we return"

"Logement spacieux, bien équipé, même sur la terrasse (lampe d'extérieur, transats, parasol...). Pas de climatisation mais maison qui garde le frais grâce à l'épaisseur des murs. Maison ancienne avec du caractère."

"The stairs are steep but the view from our room (5) was incomparable, so well worth the effort! Smart rooms, and spotless. The bed and pillows were among the most comfortable we’ve had anywhere. The location is literally on the beach, and the restaurant is friendly/formal with super food and beautiful views over the sea. Amazing value. Give Dieppe a miss - come here instead!"

"Everything was easy. We arrived after 8 pm, and were able to check ourselves in without any problem. It is really close to the Labrau ski lift which gets you to the nicest part of the resort, nested in the trees, and you get also get back with skis on. Great balcony too. The apartment was really spacious, we came with four teenagers and really appreciated the two separate rooms and bathrooms! Great to have a dishwasher!"

"What an amazing and unique place to stay! Gunter was the perfect host and gave us a memorable experience. Spacious rooms, bathroom, billiards room and library for our sole use. Lovely garden plus the breakfast room was stunning. The breakfast itself was top notch, sweet and savoury choices, home grown fruit home made jams - as much as we could eat! Definitely recommend for a special experience. Stay for more than one night to make the most of the facilities."

"Patricia is a very warm host! The place is very nice/clean/comfortable. The farm setting is a highlight, too. And breakfast was excellent every morning, including fresh duck eggs from the ducks on the adjacent farm. Great opportunity to chat with other guests at the big breakfast table, where everyone was sat together!"
