"Breakfast was fine - just remember to inform the owner the day before if you require breakfast. Ingrid, the co-owner, is a lovely woman and a fine, traditional cook. You will never leave the table hungry! Whilst she can offer beer at an extra cost, we tended to buy our own along with wine to drink at dinner. Again, you will need to inform Ingrid on the day if you require dinner later. There is no choice; me and my wife are both omnivores with no allergies or intollerances, and always liked what she prepared! Our lodge was spacious with a generous deck overlooking the beautiful gardens, and the sea in the background."

A small fridge in our lodge would have been a great bonus - however, we were free to use Ingrid's fridge. The shower was also a little on the dribbly side!

"If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"

"Location is wonderful, feeling very close to pure nature. We love the swimming, sauna, hanging matt, beach and the hike around."

The cottage is really small and stuffy esp when it’s hot. window without mosquito net, thus we cannot leave it open in the nite, too much mosquitos and horse fly.

"Исключительно приветливый персонал (мы приехали позже согласованного времени, но нас дождались и все подробно рассказали), отличное расположение отеля (в шаговой доступности вокзал и причал для прогулочных кораблей). Хорошо организованный завтрак (входит в стоимость проживания). Несмотря на близость вокзала, очень тихо и уютно."

"Далеко от города Breda. Туалет и душ расположены в другом помещении, которое довольно далеко. Нет полотенец. Нет завтрака. ОЧЕНЬ СИЛЬНЫЙ запах от коровей фермы, которая расположена в нескольких десятках метров. За заселение после 21:00 взимается дополнительная плата."
