Rooms were very clean and comfortable for both nights but totally different in size - first small with no window, second large and light with lots of space to move around. "I asked for information about a bus or shuttle between Los Mochis and El Fuerte and they said there wasn’t one. I did my own research online and found there’s a bus terminal 5 minutes walk away from the hotel with frequent transport. Some more local knowledge would be nice but I still liked my stay there."
"This hotel has a central location and street parking out front. A security guard said he watches the cars all night; he was pleasant and helpful. Other staff were ambivalant about the guests."
"I was quite annoyed as they did not charge my credit card in pesos at the contracted rate; rather they added a 6.5% exchange cost and charged in dollars. My credit card has zero percent exchange cost, so this added to the bill. I did not approve such a thing and it wasn't mentioned to me. For this reason I would not recommend this hotel, nor would I return."

"This hotel is in the perfect location. It is very close to restaurants, stores and market as well as transportation and beaches. It is in an extremely quiet neighborhood, no barking dogs or roosters. The setup of the building is perfect to create a sanctuary around the pool area."
