"Очень симпатичный отель со сказочными видами на окрестности. Находится почти на вершине холма, поэтому добраться без машины будет довольно проблематично. Зато чувствуешь себя в дали от всей суеты. На территории есть открытый бассейн с лежаками, теннисный корт. Номера большие. Есть небольшая терасса. Большая удобная кровать. Мебель не новая, но чисто. Персонал приветливый и услужливый. Завтрак не очень разнообразный. Но на ужин в ресторане можно заказать прекрасные блюда."

"I stayed at Alte Hotel in 2 different ocasions, only 1 night on my way to the south of Spain and a week later on my way back. The first room was good, nice bed, good shower. The second room not so good bed, and the shower was terrible. But overall, Good value for money. Location is interesting, away from the confusion. The restaurant was very good, and the staff very friendly. Overall you get a lot of value for money, given its peaceful, good sleep, nice pool, friendly staff. It even has a pool table."

"The rooms are clearly very dated. If somehow the hotel invested in its rooms, it would be a true gem. The breakfast was very simple. 3 or 4 types of bread, butter, 1 type of cheese and ham, milk and cereal, yogurt, and eggs. 2 types of juice and coffee/tea. I don’t think I saw fruit. Some simple additions wouldn’t cost a lot and would improve a lot, like more fresh fruit, some kind of different pastery."

"Staff were very good and pleasant, room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was very good. Unfortunately the beds were very hard, I had to fold up 2 blankets to put under the pillow, some cracks in the tiling in the bathroom. Area is beautiful and the Portuguese people are very nice."

"The bar was good, the air conditioning was good as well, the bathroom was OK, the bed was good, the TV is small but we barely use it anyways so it's fine as well, the pool is not big but it's enough to be enjoyable, plenty of parking for cars."

"I would cancel the TV subscription and get a bigger TV for the bedroom with smart apps, because in the end late at night when returning from whatever outdoor activity we do we always enjoy some streaming app, but this is minimal of course doesn't remove anything from the quality of the hotel. Now the truly negative thing I can say is the placement of the power outlet to charge our phones it's behind the beds and way out of reach so I had to move the bed to plug the power brick. The cleaning was fine but they could improve it on some things they cleaned the bathroom while we went out but only minimally, only grabbed the garbage from the bin."

"All of the staff that I met were very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was very spacious with ample storage space. There was plenty of hot water and a good pressure in the shower. Breakfast was good with a selection of breads, hot and cold drinks, cereals, cheese, meat and scrambled eggs."

"A couple more sockets to use for charging would be useful without having to unplug the TV and light. The noise from people in the corridor and other rooms was very loud. However it did quieten down by midnight."
