"A fun and colourful resort close to Grenada airport. We stayed here for a few nights at the start of our trip to Grenada and really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and reasonably comfortable; it had nice doors out with direct pool access and even had a small kitchenette. The grounds of the hotel are well thought out and it's nice to have the choice of pools, each with different views and vibes! The restaurant is great and we had some delicious meals, "Street Food Wednesday" was a highlight of our trip! There was also a wide range of tours and activities; we did a full island tour which was really worth it."

There are limited amenities near this hotel - other than the university, there is no town/restaurants/beach to walk to. The hotel was great and organizing taxis however and there is a free shuttle to the beach!

"Every room has a view over the lake. It's worth it just for that. Filtered water available for free in the hallway."

Restaurant prices are too high.

"Wow—that’s all I can say! Alexis is the best host ever. The location can't be beaten, and the same goes for the staff. You get proper 6-star service for a fraction of the price!"

"Magic Reef is a beautiful resort, very relaxing. The bungalows are well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. It was also great to have our own comfortable lounge chairs on the deck to take in the views out over the reef, watching the waves crashing and the sun setting which was all simply breathtaking. There are a few really good restaurants within walking distance down the beach, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing time. We hired a car for a couple of days to explore around the island, enjoy some beach swimming, snorkeling and to eat at some different restaurants. The pool was great, lovely temperature and depth. Our hosts and all the staff were friendly, helpful and we enjoyed talking with them. Thanks for the beautiful platter in the fridge, the beers, juice etc which was so appreciated. We would highly recommend Magic Reef if you like a small boutique resort."

It is slight expensive and the restaurant don't have paper menu. Please tell them to have menu on the table or present it when asked.

"Отель очень понравился. Жили в корпусе Seaview. У отеля очень классная территория и береговая линия. Огромный бассейн с каяками. Отличный завтрак. В будние дни отель очень немноголюден, это доставляет отдельное удовольствие. В выходные приезжают брунейцы семьями, на завтраке становится тесновато, но у бассейнов при этом все равно не очень многолюдно. Трансфер из аэропорта за вменяемые деньги. Сотрудники аэропорта организовали нам также трансфер-экскурсию с водителем по столице. Мы купались в море, хотя это не рекомендовано отелем, но и не запрещают."

Не везде оперативно убирают мусор, принесенный морем

"Красивая территория, чистый пляж, хороший персонал. Останавливались в вилле с 3 спальнями. Очень удобная планировка, но мебель и оборудование устаревшие. Очень шумные старые кондиционеры. Ночью приходилось их выключать, так как совершенно невозможно спать. Даже днем они вызывали дискомфорт сильным шумом. Все межкомнатные двери полностью из легкого металла, очень странное решение. Закрывались с сильным стуком и скрипом. Есть кухня с плитой, микроволновой печью, холодильником, но нет никакой посуды, кроме чашек. В пивном баре, расположенном в гостинице, нет никакой информации про happy hour, хотя эта опция есть. Только один официант из нескольких работающих сказал нам про это и учитывал в счете. Остальные приносили счет без скидки, приходилось каждый раз указывать на это. В аква центре нет прайс листа с ценами, все со слов работника, как на рынке."

A little tired in places - could do with a bit of a spruce up such as a lick of paint on all the walls, new carpets in the common areas (stairs) etc. Seemed to be a lot of staff but not a lot of guests (although the staff were lovely).

Отель тянет на хорошие 4 звезды. Но не как не на 5 звезд. В номере не было халатов, минибар был пуст!!!! Кол- во вешалок в шкафу - 4 шт на двоих. Когда попросили дополнительное кол- во принесли пластиковые. Два ресторана на берегу из двух не работали 3 дня в неделю. Возможно был не сезон. Но тогда что говорить об этом отеле в зимние месяца!!!

"Отличный аквапарк, тёплый. Есть развлечения для всех и детей и взрослых. Мы остались довольны"

"I thought the meals were good overall and the locations (I.e. grill, restaurant) very convenient. The staff at Divi were very professional, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. My family felt welcomed throughout our stay and really enjoyed our time at the resort."

We would have preferred for our rooms to be closer together however we appreciate that the hotel was able to accommodate our additional request to have the rooms on the first floor in order to accommodate my elderly mom.

"The kids loved the pool facilities. Miss Tandin and Me Shyam on the desk were particularly helpful. They arranged to meet our needs with a pleasant smile. The room service was excellent and well trained. Thank you all"

The location was a little to the edge of the city but that may be a good thing for some looking for peace & quiet. The decor is a bit dated

The fact that, despite the heat, rooms were not supplied with drinking water & this had to be ordered from room service at $5 a small bottle. We had just arrived from staying at the Hamilton Princess hotel in Bermuda &, as is normal for luxury hotels of this standard, that had no problem in supplying drinking water to guests free of charge.

La cama se movía se movía mucho y se corría del lugar muy incómodo de verdad El tv nunca funcionó Llamamos a recepción y nunca contestaron Mucha gente en recepción ala hora de la entrada

"The hotel is great and in an amazing location which is right inside the airport. Staff were polite and amazing, great buffet breakfast, there is mini zoo which had wildlife such as monkeys, crocodile, tortoise, parrot, ostriches, peacocks etc. The rooms and facilities was great and it was a great stay. They provided free shuttle to the airport which is a bonus."

The pool could do with a bit of cleaning.

"I had never been to an all inclusive resort before and was sceptical and personally probably will never do it again but nothing to do with the Bareclo, simply my preference but the resort was totally amazing considering the price. I had one of the bungalows which has large vey well decorated and very comfortable likewise the bathroom. Considering the size of the resort the WiFi was excellent . I never used the pool which was huge but instead the beach and swam several times The beach is stunning and spotlessly clean as to the gardens they are stunning and so well kept. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially so the ones in the dining room I have never seen such a volume of food being served ( and consumed !) in such vast qualities and the staff there in my view were so patient considering what they were dealing with! Overall I cannot fault the resort in any major way you get amazing value for money … congratulations to Barcelo"

The checking in process is very unwieldy on arrival I joined a queue of at least 50 people I got there in the early afternoon and they simply would not let anyone in to their room before 3 pm And surely some of rooms were really and why allow check ins as was available . This is not the first time I have come across this attitude The resort is large and at first it was difficult to find your bungalow as it’s not overly well signposted The was an entertainment lady around the pool screaming down a microphone … why is that necessary ? Overall it was a great stay Well done Barcelo

"The view from our room, any room in fact, looked out over the crashing waves that rolled in from the Indian Ocean. Biggest room weve had in Bali.The staff were ready to look after our every whim. They brought meals in from outside restaurants. Instead of 2 tiny water bottles per day they provided a 20 litre water dispenser. The pool overlooked the black pebbly beach. The surrounding area was not overwhelmed by tourists and the locals were 1980's friendly."
