"Really clean, big rooms, nice that you don’t need to wake up early to reserve the sunbeds. Breakfast included. Really nice beach. Cold towel and virgin shot service at the pool every day. They really made us to feel special, this was our anniversary trip."

A little bit noise from the outside in the early mornings and you always heard the ice machine used in the hallway. There was also renovation in one of the resraurants, which we did not know beforehand and there were thrilling at day time, which we heard in our room. Also a lot of other small maintain, like bug spraying in our room and men repairing aircon in front of our room in most of the days. We couldn’t eat breakfast in Tara wing because of the renovation, because they closed early every morning. Nobody told us that. A lot of bird poop everywhere and the birds in the breakfast area/tables in the beach restaurant.

The resort is not in walking distance to San Ignacio. You need a car (and worse a parking spot) to go there. This makes you dependent on the hotel‘s facilities and restaurant. Be aware that the breakfast included only means a small selection of breakfast choices. Whenever you want something extra eg eggs you pay extra! You pay a 10% „service charge“ on everything, even on the organization of tours, which is quite a ripoff. I did some activities organized by the hotel. These tours (especially the mayan cooking class) are real good, however as a single I had to pay for two people (minus a small discount). Moreover, tax & „service charge“ were added to the net prices mentioned in the flyer. Taken together this makes these tours unacceptably expensive.

Check air conditioner operation before sleeping! We down graded to beach front from water bungalow but didnt get discount or reimbursement from booking dot com. :( Had noisy neighouring resort from parties over 2 days.

"Если вы отдыхаете с детьми, то им здесь точно будет чем заняться. Большие бассейны, всевозможные игры, пенные вечеринки. Прекрасный персонал. В отеле несколько корпусов, корпус 2 без балконов, учитывайте при бронировании. Хорошая зеленая территория, номера большие, белье и полотенца свежие. В отеле есть пляж, песок там вулканический и почти черный, купаться можно, не глубоко. В наш приезд не было волн и народ купался. Океан очень теплый. Шведский стол не богатый, но есть из чего выбрать."

Наш номер был весьма старый, очень шумный кондиционер, который включался автоматически. Еда средняя, не плохо, но и сказать что отлично не могу.

Когда попросили дополнительное кол- во принесли пластиковые. Два ресторана на берегу из двух не работали 3 дня в неделю. Возможно был не сезон. Но тогда что говорить об этом отеле в зимние месяца!!!

"Great snorkelling around the over water bungalows, lots of turtles feeding on the seagrass. Beautiful location, so relaxing. Beach access bungalows are very nice, newly renovated, comfy bed. Pool was awesome. Appreciated the sea bird conservation in the island. I actually loved the sounds of the Puffin de Pacifique birds at night - I thought it was a child crying at first lol… bungalows have earplugs, luckily! Complimentary buffet breakfast was good. Got a generous late check out, service was really good from the boat to the front desk to the restaurant and bar. Everyone speaks a very high level of English, not sure where the negative comments about staff come from - they were the best I experienced in NC by far."

It’s an expensive buffet dinner (around $80aud) but the choices were really good, esp the fresh seafood and all the desserts. It’s just not worth it if you don’t eat huge dinners. Order à la carte options instead, but nice to try the buffet just once. Consider BYO noodles and alcohol if you want to save money, buying food and drinks from the restaurant and bar adds up quick. Would have been good to be able to lock/unlock the back beach access door from outside with a key.

"Nice and spaceous property just a 5-10 min drive from Tahko Ski Resort. 3 of the rooms out of 4 had private bathrooms, which was very convinient. Also the sauna was very specious. Would come back again!"

There was nothing significant to complain about. Overall, the experience met and even exceeded my expectations.

If I were to nitpick, the dinner menu could be a bit more interesting. Other than that, everything was great.

"Отдых получился замечательным! В первую очередь для нас было главным наличие безбарьерной среды, так как наш сын передвигается на инвалидной коляске. Наш апартамент находился всего в нескольких минутах от моря, был удобный спуск к морю на коляске. По территории мы тоже могли передвигаться, единственное — вверх подняться не могли, так как подъём слишком высокий. Персонал был очень внимательным и доброжелательным."

Питание в ресторане показалось однообразным, почти каждый день было одно и то же. Мы также ходили в пиццерию на берегу моря, где кухня нам понравилась.

"Well maintained, super friendly and helpful staff. Room was always well stocked with towels and cleaned. Nicola does a great job by the pool keeping everyone happy with towels, food and drinks. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly and the bartender was always smiling and talkative. D Richard’s steakhouse was great - Steak Diane and Filet were both excellent. Sol de Mar had good Mediterranean style food with a relaxed atmosphere. My husband and I ate here on a few occasions- pasta with lobster, veal scallopini both great choices. Close location to a number of off property restaurants that are excellent."

The pads on the loungers are very old, worn thin and extremely uncomfortable to sit on. Chef’s Table wasn’t good- we ate only one dinner there and the lobster cake and fish were dried out. The pasta dish with Shrimp had the full shell on the shrimp still making eating very messy. Lobster Fest on the beach was disappointing. The lobster was dried out as it had been sitting under lamps for some time. We waited 30 minutes past our reservation time to finally get a table after speaking with the manager in charge. Very unorganized.

"Нам было очень уютно, комфортно и тепло, как у бабушки в деревне. Отопление хорошее. Чистое белье и полотенца. Умиротворенная атмосфера. Это прекрасное место, где можно уединиться и насладиться природой и тишиной. Хорошая цена. Есть купель с водой из источников с видом на горы и поле с овечками. Купель чистая, я не понимаю, кто пишет отзывы, что она грязная. Были при температуре на улице +2, вода была между теплой и горячей в купели, и прекрасная горячая сауна-это все включено в стоимость проживания. Замечательный персонал, очень добродушный, все объясняет. Быстро отвечают на сообщения. Сделали нам бесплатно апгрейд номера, так как было наполовину пусто в гостевом доме. Можно заказать ужин (до 21:00) и завтрак, шеф-повар очень вкусно готовит. Вернулись бы еще много раз. Спасибо хозяевам и персоналу!!! Успехов Вам! Вы большие молодцы!"

"The beachfront location. Hotel staff are all very nice."

Restaurant waiters are useless, slow, just talking to each other. . Even if you are a guest at hotel they want you to pay for the huts. Hotel guests should get at least a free hour daily. There is no real beach seating for hotel guests to relax.

"Больше всего понравился вид с террасы ресторана, где проходили завтраки. Вид на крюгер парк и реку, в которой купались бегемоты каждый день. Вид на красивейшие закаты."

Номер был довольно скромный., очень простой. От кровати пахло неприятно - как будто красили дерево или еще что то. В номере был балкон с видом на реку , но не панорамный ( с одной стороны какая то колючая проволока и кусты) . Завтрак довольно скромный, выбор блюд небольшой.

"Excellent location, plenty of facilities on the grounds to choose from. Mambo beach was not too crowsded as we feared, and there was no construction in the area. Great customer service too, we appreciated the followup email asking if there is anything we need during our stay and our request was immediately granted."

Staff could have been a bit more friendlier, especially Hemingway/receptionists. Also there was a slight smell of mold in our room. You can pay in EUR, but not worth it since the change you will get back is in USD, hence losing money.

"Great pools, no rush to grab a lounger in the morning, comfy bed, good shower, excellent location right in the middle of The Gap. The crazy golf course was superb! Gardens were large and well kept."

Bar was expensive so no-one really used it. Pure Ocean restaurant was just ok. Apartment was a bit tired in places. Felt it was expensive for what it was but worth paying the extra for pool/garden view.

"Очень красиво расположен на холме, номера с видом на лес, и не просто лес, а национальный парк Дилижана. Он большой и весьма зелёный, летом должно быть невероятно. Вкусный завтрак, ещё более вкусный обед. Салатики, закуски, горячее, от всего был в полном восторге. Свежие фрукты тоже. На выбор два блюда, два супа, два салата, то что нужно чтобы не создавать излишнего продуктового мусора, всё вкусное. Номера просторные, огромные как и само фойе ресторана. Бассейн с тёплой водой и удобным входом, плюс не слишком глубокий, нет места где взрослый человек тонет, а значит удобнее следить за детьми. Удобная раздевалка. Очень обширное и интересное меню при заказе в номер."

В номере не хватало ещё пары розеток у кровати чтобы заряжать гаджеты. Лифт расположен между этажами - это не критично для меня, но может быть важно для людей ограниченной мобильности. Сейчас не сезон поэтому пианобар не работал. Пешком до центра может быть далековато, но рядом есть отличный винный бар в пешей доступности. Местами имеет смысл подкрасить-подмазать-обработать от ржавчины, но без жести. В целом жалобы все не критичные.

If I had to mention one small area for improvement, it would be the layout — the bed is a bit close to the entrance door, which made the space feel slightly tight at times.
