Not the best area in Paternoster, although to be fair within walking distance of everything, the exterior gates were hard work, they need to be fixed / maintained properly, chunky thick wine glasses not really what you want to drink quality wine out of

"We enjoyed the cute and small surrounding village and quiet environment with a stunning view of Nile river. The rooms were very clean and spacious and had all the necessary equipment and amenities. The ground staff were also very helpful. The host, Danielle was very helpful for all the questions I had before the trip and she arranged a tour for us. The guide Mohamed was also very helpful and flexible to meet our needs every day and tried to make sure we were happy with the service!"

"The location is handy to town if you do not have a car it is a quick 5 minute walk to the main centre. It had all the necessities for our stay. We loved the deck and how quiet it was. The rooms were comfortable and having mesh windows reduced the mozzie bites. The images of the property are exactly what we you get when you hire this beautiful place."

Would have been great to have air con in the back room but the heat was manageable.

"Отличный маленький домик. Есть кухня, холодильник, стиральная машина. Интернет быстрый. Во дворе живут три огромные черепахи. Главный плюс - возможность пройти к шикарному пляжу. Выход к нему есть только с участков, расположенных на крайней улице, поэтому людей там практически нет. Выходите с калитки и идите налево около 100 метров. Персонал дружелюбный и отзывчивый. Нам разрешили раньше заехать и позже выехать. За это отдельное спасибо!"

"Заботливые хозяева, просто душки! И встретили нас поздно и рано утром на такси посадили. Очень просторный номер! Наличие кондиционера и вентилятора на втором этаже очень порадовало! Приятной неожиданностью были балкон и большой телевизор. Понравилась большая кухонная зона, где есть всё необходимое! Также была возможность бесплатно постирать вещи, а также был кулер с водой."

"Прекрасно было все: расположение, обеспечение, общение, проживание! Чудесные виды гор вокруг, прекрасный лес, вкуснейший кизил, теплый дом, добрый общительный и очень деятельный хозяин! Всем рекомендую, независимо от сезона! Зимой там тоже прекрасно! Рядом город Жабляк и национальный парк Дурмитор, красивейшие горные дороги, удивительные каньоны и горные реки, хвойные и буковые леса. Ночью - великолепные звезды! Поезжайте, не пожалеете!"

"The location is beautiful as there is a view on both the mountains and the sea. It is not walking distance to Jiufen which is a good thing because it's too busy there and I rather drive a few minutes for a visit and then back to some peace and quiet. The couple that owns and runs the hotel are very nice and helpful. We loved the traditional Chinese breakfast sitting outside the hotel looking at this amazing view"

"Clean, and a cleaner came each day, the roof terrace was amazing, lots of space. I was a bit concerned about previous reviews about lack of heating and hot water but the place was warm and we didn’t need the heaters provided, shower water was hot which we needed for the long treks in the surrounding mountains. I could have spent a lot longer here."

Windows are not very soundproof, so for me, sleeping was difficult, but for a few nights, stay worth using ear plugs as the location is great.

"La maison est cozy et l'environnement est très calme et apaisant.l'accueil est chaleureux. Ideal pour se ressourcer loin du tumulte de la ville.Mais le centre ville reste facilement accessible si necessaire.L'hôte est toujours disponible en cas de besoin"

Nothing really. However, it would be great if the property had a loundry machine, it gets tricky without one for longer stays with family. Internet connection would be great addition as well.

"Прекрасный новый, небольшой домик, на кухне есть все необходимое. Дом с обогревом, тёплыми полами и сауной. Терраса прямо у воды, тихое место. Ближайший магазин в 5 мин. на машине, Паланга тоже недалеко, нам все понравилось. 👍"

Очень крутая лестница на второй этаж, надо быть очень внимательным. 😉

"Lovely, comfortable, big appartment and view over Texel Airfield / Skydive Drop-Zone. We chose it as our son skydives and we had family doing tandems. Its a good base for the whole island and an interesting place to be but if you want to walk to restaurants in the evening better to be in De Koog or Den Burg. For our purpose it was great. Our skydiver even managed to get a early jump in before the Texel Half Marathon he was running! The price is right for the quality of appartment but Texel is generally dear."

There was a window open in the bathroom which we had not spotted and the appartment was full of mosquitos which was odd given we are end of September. The freezer door was jammed with ice.

"Nos hicieron un upgrade a Villa Marina, un apartamento situado en la colina que domina Red Hook. Las vistas son soberbias; buen equipamiento, piscina “cuasi-privada”. Buena atención del dueño en el paso de la tormenta tropical Ernesto y posteriores consecuencias (leves). Recomendable"

La contrapartida a las buenas vistas es subir arriba. Es necesario coche (lo teníamos). El único “pero” era la extraña dependencia de generadores eléctricos para tener agua corriente dentro de casa. Tras la tormenta hubo que usar generador y andar cambiando bombonas de gas (pero el duelo, Steve, se encargó de ello)

"It was quiet, but so close to town and beach. Michelle was fantastic with helping us find restaurants, book tours and taxis - just a lovely person. She could not have been more helpful."

"Great location, loved the customer service and the price is very competitive. The beds were comfortable and loved the fact that we could watch the African Cup of Nations on TV. The place is very clean. Really loved that."

While not the fault of the house, the Unexpected Electricity outages were inconvenient. Long terms measures could include a back up generator or battery storage. Would also be good to have toilet papers in the toilets, not everyone is a big fan of using water. I had to purchase my own toilet papers. Hot water didn't seem to work.
