"Отличное место для проживания, жаль, что мы были здесь всего одну ночь, идеально, чтобы остаться на все 5-6 дней и ездить отсюда по всем красивым местам. Очень часто в апартаментах на фарерских островах плохое оборудование (желтые изнутри чайники и старое постельное белье, например), но здесь все новое. Вид на водопад."

"Owners responded promptly. Complimentary breakfast added a delightful touch. Beds were comfortable. The beach was just a 2-3 minute walk away, and parking was conveniently located right in front of the unit. The staff were exceptionally helpful."

The shower had a heater problem, there was no shampoo or soap in the lower washrooms, and the TV didn't work. However, none of these issues affected our stay.

From the outside, the place looked simple, but the room itself was actually nicer and better equipped than the Sheraton in Brussels or the King Fajd Palace in Dakar which I had stayed in en route."

The street was a block in from the main road which was quiet and nice in the daytime but too dark to walk at night alone as a single lady.

Location views are wonderful, very quiet location short drive up hill to San Morino and shortdrive down to Rimoni.

"We had a very spacious appartment. The location is amazing you can walk everywhere and start cross country skiing right at the appartment. For us it was a very nice stay and we would come again!"

Overall the appartment came into the years a little bit. Some lights were not working so well for example, the sauna was hard to get very hot and the fan in the bathroom did not work. We did not mind very much but maybe there should be some maintenance works done in the nearer future.

Il serait bien qu'un minimum pour le premier petit déjeuner soit proposé ce serait top et peut être un peu plus de vaisselle comme on peut y être entre 4 et 6 personnes c'est un peu léger.

"Clean, and a cleaner came each day, the roof terrace was amazing, lots of space. I was a bit concerned about previous reviews about lack of heating and hot water but the place was warm and we didn’t need the heaters provided, shower water was hot which we needed for the long treks in the surrounding mountains. I could have spent a lot longer here."

I sometimes had trouble sleeping because of the noise outside - but there is not much one could do about that!

Горячая вода есть всегда, так как имеется проточный водонагреватель. Вентиляторы в каждой комнате работали исправно. Кондиционер холодил. Уборка в номере по необходимости при обращении на ресепшн. "Beautiful property atop a hill, with nice views of the surroundings (including a view of the Queen's Palace). Very clean. Elegant decor. Comfortable beds. Access to private swimming pool (competition-length, which is great for serious swimmers), a pool-house equipped with grill, bar, tables, and games (ping pong and foosball), and a private playground for younger children. We ordered 1 meal that was excellent, served in-house by the hosts. The hosts live in a separate unit on the property and they were available whenever we had questions. One of the hosts used to be a competitive swimmer and she gave the children a swim lesson. A relaxing place if you want to get away from the bustle of downtown Tana."

Somewhat difficult to find if you're driving yourself, but that's no fault of the hosts and the isolation does make the property more peaceful. Besides, property access won't be a problem if you ask the hosts to organize transportation for you (either car or motorcycle). There was a water shortage due to a drought at the time of rental, but again that's no fault of the hosts. We just had to be careful about our water consumption and it all worked out just fine. Treat the hosts with respect and they will definitely return the favor (they surprised us with freshly baked bread on our last day!)

Windows are not very soundproof, so for me, sleeping was difficult, but for a few nights, stay worth using ear plugs as the location is great.

"The decoration style of this cottage is very cozy. The hostess is super nice and gave us great tips for less touristy routes in Pokhara — we had a wonderful time! Every staff member here is warm and friendly, and the breakfast was delicious."

"Martin and Gabriela are the loveliest hosts you can find. A couple who retired from Bavaria to build their paradise here, they are warm, hospitable, helpful and friendly. And you’ll get to stay in a paradise indeed in your time there. Their breakfast are of home made jam, bread, preserved fruits. The eggs are all from free range chicken reared in their yards. And very good coffee too. You will get to know their lovely pet Rocky, a husky, and another smaller dog whose name I forgot. There’s also a cat Sisi. They will pick u up by car from your bus stop off . Depending on the circumstance they may even give you a tour of the local towns. The rooms are clean and comfortable. With free WiFi. All in all I couldn’t have found better place to stay and hosts! ☺️"

"The location is beautiful as there is a view on both the mountains and the sea. It is not walking distance to Jiufen which is a good thing because it's too busy there and I rather drive a few minutes for a visit and then back to some peace and quiet. The couple that owns and runs the hotel are very nice and helpful. We loved the traditional Chinese breakfast sitting outside the hotel looking at this amazing view"

"Location is only a few minutes walk from the centre of town. The property has a small but private garden with sun loungers, etc to use when the sun shines. We had a detached lodge with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, open living, dining and kitchen area downstairs plus downstairs toilet - so the accommodation met our needs nicely. When it got cold the landlord came by and asked if we needed the heating putting on and showed us how to do this, which was thoughtful."

The landlord gave a lot of very exacting instructions on the use of the facilities in the property, which made us a bit nervous about using things incorrectly or potentially breaking anything!
